I received this in a gift bag I won- I will buy it once I run out! It is so nice on my skin and adds a natural coverage. Very light and non-irritating (I have sensitive skin). I use it on top of my studio fix and I am good to go for the day. It is messy but what powder isn't?
After using liquid foundations and clogging my pores for quite some time now, I switched over to Bare Minerals and have never turned back. The foundation has surprisingly great coverage and blends right into the skin. It doesn't feel like a mask like the liquid foundation used to and stay on great throughout the day. What can I say? I love it!
I use to use this product everyday. I admit this product is great because it make you look unaffected by the damages of makeup when you take it off. There for it make you look prettier when you take it off compared to the other make up. This product is very light on the skin and it feels like you have nothing on. It also make you look natural.
Although this product have many advantages, it also have disadvantages too. Its not thick enough. If you want that doll like makeup look, its kind of hard. Although what i figured out is that if you mix it with water it will create a foundation substance to make it thicker.
I have been using Bare Escentuals I.D. Bare Minerals Foundations for about 7 months now. I started using it in the summer because I wanted something light on my skin in the heat. I also wanted to begin using a mineral product because my skin had been taking a beating from all the oily, liquid foundations I was using beforehand. I really like this product! It only suits for a light coverage foundation, but it also wears light, so it makes sense. My skin has thanked me for switching to this product! I don't breakout anymore, and it looks and feels better when I wear, and when I don't. On days when I require fuller coverage, I use a liquid foundation underneath Bare Minerals. I find that bare minerals gives my skins a more natural look on top of the liquid foundation.
I recommend this product for people who want to be nicer to their skin, and are sick and tired of having to cover up the blemishes that occur from their old foundations. Bare Minerals is very gentle on the skin, and easy to remove. It also comes in a lot of different skins shades to it's easy to find the exact shade you need.
It's a bit expensive, at $35 a jar, but if you buy the starter kit for $75, you get all the brushes you need, bronzer, blush, and 2 sample size colours. Definitely worth every penny.
after years of trying different foundations for my acne prone skin i found the bare minerals foundation at sephora and fell in love.
i have been using it for about 3 years now, and love the coverage it gives me. nice and light but still even coverage. When ever i used to take pictures you could see the uneven matching from most foundations but this matches perfectly to my pale/porcelain skin.
i got my mom hooked on it as well, and we are both extremely happy with it.
This foundation is great for people with fair skin. It looks and feels completely natural when you're wearing it. I found that it did not provide adequate coverage for some darker coloured scars and I had to get the eye brightener in Well-Rested to cover them sufficiently. Overall this has been one of the best foundations I have used and I've gotten many compliments on my skin while wearing it.
Dependiing on the day, I either love this product, or find it to be alright. If my skin is dry that day, I find the bare minerals to feel a little cakey. Overall a good product though.
I love love LOVE Bare minerals!!!! I'm a liquid foundation girl all the way but I had to try this out when I saw it on t.v, and was super impressed! Great coverage, and adaptable too. Super fast and easy to apply. Stays fresh for a long time. Easy to touch up. Price is normal, but worth it in my opinion. My only complaint...and its a small one, is that it rubs off on my boyfriends shirts haha but thats to be expected
I recently purchased the Bare Minerals foundation and Mineral Veil SPF 25. Their assortment in skin tones and colors is amazing, and I am sure that there is one that will fit your face perfectly.
I had been using L'Oreals mineral foundation for a couple of years, then switched over to Bobbi Browns foundation and Prescriptive powder. In terms of mineral foundations, Bare Minerals is the way to go. Don't get me wrong about L'Oreal. The drugstore brand t works perfectly fine for the price, but if you want to have an ABSOLUTELY flawless complexion I would spend a bit more money for just that.
