I really like this product. I have very dark hair and the other dry shampoos leave my hair looking so white... it has a great smell and really absorbs the natural oils of my hair.

I wasn't sure if I would like this because it is colored but I really do. It is better then the regular one because it doesn't leave a white build up. If you have dark brown hair I really recommend this dry shampoo.

This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used. It makes my hair feel so clean and it smells amazing! It does what it says it does, the only downside is that the color tint is hard to wash off. If I scratch my head, the color comes off under my fingernails.

I received this product from Chickadvisor in exchange for my honest review. I included a photo of the dry shampoo sprayed on a piece of white paper to show dark the shade is and how well it matches darker hair tones.

Here's what I liked:
1. There wasn't a white cast on my nearly-black hair like all of the other brands I have tried. There was a slight difference in the dry shampoo colour and the colour of my hair, but it disappeared once I brushed through my hair to more evenly distribute the product.

2. Works so very well at getting rid of excess oil in your hair. I used this on second and third day hair and it still looked freshly washed.

3. It gave my hair wonderful volume and texture. Sometimes when I wear my hair straight, it tends to fall a little flat, especially on the second day, but this dry shampoo added even more volume than I usually have, even with freshly washed hair.

4. Simply the best dry shampoo I have ever used.

The things I didn't like:

1. The scent was a little "old lady" for my taste. I found it to be very overpowering as well. It was a strong floral mixed with musky scent, that I don't care for. It isn't a subtle fragrance either. The people around you definitely notice this smell. Not enough to keep me from using it, but I may try the other Batiste dry shampoos to see of the fragrance is any better.

2. If I scratch my head, I get dark residue from the dry shampoo under my nails. Everybody scratches their head sometimes and it looks a bit nasty.

I love this dry shampoo, I will continue to use Batiste, just wish they would change the scent.

I love this product! After receiving it from Chick Advisor for testing purposes, I honestly cannot get enough of it. It really soaks up any oil that is present on the scalp. It also adds volume and it isn't like the other dry shampoos where it leaves a white residue since this one is for dark brown hair. I will definitely 100 % purchase it again and I cannot thank ChickAdvisor enough for giving me the opportunity to try it. I still cannot believe how much I have loved this, I recommend it to anyone who would like to try a dry shampoo for the first time. Even if you are already an avid dry shampoo user, after using this which suited my hair colour you are surly going to fall in love with it!

I was really excited to receive the Batiste Dry Shampoo - Dark and Deep Brown as a part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I use dry shampoo IMMEDIATELY after drying my hair, to keep my hair cleaner longer. With dark brown hair, some dry shampoos give off too much whiteness, so trying something for my hair colour was fun! I liked the mild scent, it was easy to apply, and blended well with my hair. I was able to extend my hair washing by a day or so. My only issue was the brown colour that came off when styling my hair - some on my hands, and some on my brush. I would buy this product again, and would recommend to anyone with darker hair. Remember, it's MOST effective on freshly-clean dry hair. :)

I have tried many of the dry shampoos on the market and think that Batiste is hands-down the best value for the money. It works well on my super-super-oily hair (when I say super, I mean it needs to be washed every 12 hours). After using the product, my hair doesn't look quite as good as when it's freshly washed, but I'm able to skip a day of shampooing and get away with wearing my hair down for most of the day. It also doesn't leave too much residue on my hair or scalp. My only issue is with the smell. I can't adequately describe it other than saying that it's just not pleasant. It's not a bad smell, it just takes some getting used to.

I received this product to try for free through ChicAdvisor. I was excited to try this as regular white dry shampoo always is still visable in my hair no matter how much I blend.

The main positives for this is it says it will do what it promises. It definitely blends well into darker hair. It sucks up the excess oil and make your hair appear fresher. The price point is pretty good as well.

The only negatives that I experience were the fact that when youvare blending with your fingers it tends to change the colour or your nails and also I'd rather a different smell, maybe something fresher and not as potent.

All in all the positives out weigh the negatives.
Most likely will repurchase in the future.

I received this as a part of the product review club. I've used many other dry shampoos and this one worked, but it's not my preferred brand. I prefer no smell if possible, and this one has a very strong smell.

In regards to the brown tone, I have light black hair so the colour wouldn't help me much.

Overall, an okay product, but I think there are better dry shampoos out there.

This dry shampoo does the job and it doesn't leave a white-cast in my hair, which I love! I do wish it gave more volume like the XXL Batiste Dry Shampoo does though. That would make this my absolute go-to dry shampoo.
