I received this product from Chickadvisor. After the first application, my hair felt quite soft but after my second application, i didn't find much of a difference. Overall, it was not bad and smells good.

I have thick, course, kinky hair. I feel like it got rid of the oily feeling off my scalp, which is good, but I also have a very dry scalp and it flakes often - doesn't really aid that. Use it if you have a normal scalp condition and to help you in times of when you're rushing to get out somewhere, but don't want smelly, oily hair.. it helps jazz those issues up promptly. For myself, it was a nice sample, but I wouldn't go about recommending or purchasing this further for my specific needs and anyone like myself. Otherwise, out of those circumstances, I would go about recommending it.

I usually find baby powder is the best form of dry shampoo and was pleasantly surprised with the effectiveness of this one. The formula is brown and certainly eliminates the problem of having to blend light powders into dark hair. In terms of effectiveness, using this buys me one extra day in between washes. However, this is a strong chemical smell that I'm not a huge fan of.

This worked really well if you like the idea of dry shampoo altogether. I though it was cool that it has a tint to it so it doesn't show up white like some others.

I received the Batiste Dry Shampoo (Deep Brown) from Chick Advisor in a small box along with a cute shower cap covered in flamingos! The first time I tried the dry shampoo, I didn't push down hard enough so I didn't get a full blast of product. When I shook the can and pressed hard the 2nd try, it came out with dark pigment and felt cool on my scalp. My hair has lighter brown highlights so the spray made it slightly splotchy, but once I rubbed it in with my hands, it blended much better. This product would work well for those who have grey/white hairs as it worked well at covering them on my mom. Overall, this product was pretty good. I don't see myself using the entire bottle anytime soon so it will probably last awhile.

This was my very first time using a dry shampoo and it was an interesting experience! I wouldn't say this product is ideal for Afro-Carribean hair, it really isn't made for it. Even though the product is tinted, my hair is pitch black so it's still somewhat visible if you don't massage it in properly. It did help suck up some oil though as it promised. It's also a very reasonable price. So, even though the product is not ideal for my hair type and colour, I'd recommend it for those with brown, thinner textured hair.

Firstly, I've long been a fan of Batiste dry shampoo and was super excited to receive a coloured product to test. My hair has always been natural ombre -- blonde at the bottom, medium brown roots, so this product works great. With regular dry shampoos, they often leave a white residue which leaves my roots looking grey. I love that this product blends into my hair and no one can tell! The only thing I dislike is that when you're spraying your roots at the hairline, the brown colours your forehead. It's not a major problem, but unless you're using this product in good lighting, you may mistakenly leave the house with it on your face if you aren't careful!

I was curious to see how well this would work with someone with grey hairs, so I let my mom test it. The product didn't completely cover her grey, but it did mask it well enough that it just looked like light brown hair.

Lastly, this product gave a lot of bounce to my hair. My hair is fairly flat, and Batiste provided decent volume to my roots. Honestly, my hair looks better after using this product than when I use my typical volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Although I love this product, what I don't love is the price. Yes, it is great quality, but it shouldn't break the bank. I think you can get it for fairly less at places like Winners and Marshalls.

I was very skeptical at first about a "shampoo" that requires no water but if you look at it as not neccesarily a shampoo but a product that keeps down frizz and oil between washings its a great thing to have in the bathroom cabinet. It smells good and seemed to work pretty well in keeping down the oil and didn't leave my hair looking colored or with lots of residue. washed out really well in the shower too. Overall im happy with it and would recomend.

I like how this dry shampoo smelled, it was very refreshing and not too overpowering. The dark brown blends in well with my hair and left my hair feeling clean and slightly less greasy. The dry shampoo is very light weight in your hair, you wouldn't know if it was there at all, except you will because it is doing it's job. So you can stop worrying about noticeable white residual or dirty hair.

I received this free from Chick Advisor to test out and I've used it a few times! Overall, I find that it is effective, and doesn't leave white marks on my brown/black hair. It really helped my greasy hair look manageable and less greasy.
However, I have found that it did leave a rough feeling on my hair and it was difficult to brush through. As well, when I would scratch my scalp, dark stuff would come under my fingernails and left my fingers looking gross. To combat that, I would touch my hair less, which is a good thing I suppose.

Overall, a good dry shampoo for darker hair because you don't have to worry about white residue. Otherwise, I find it comparable with other drugstore dry shampoos on the market.
