I like this dry shampoo a lot more than the others. I really took away all the greasiness and gave my hair a great nice lift.
Love, love , love this product! After trying a couple of different brands, this one definitely made the cut! The concept of dry shampoo itself changed my life altogether and is a great beauty short cut to looking great and saving time! I buy this product in bulk and always keep it on hand. I use dry shampoo on a weekly basis. Its such a convenient product and save me lots of time in between washes.
Overall, this is a decent dry shampoo. It does a nice job of soaking up all of the nasty-ness that can build up in your roots over time. It can cause a white cast on darker hair, but that's pretty standard with dry shampoo. The smell isn't bad, but it is a little "old fashioned," like Gran's popery. The version I have is "original" and it comes in a green tube, but I believe their is also a differently scented version that comes in a pink can. I'm not really sure where you can pick this up -- I got mine at a uniquely New England store called Harmon's
Hope this was helpful.
I've tried several dry shampoos and Batiste original is by far the best one.
The coverage is lightbut effective and I like the slightly citrusy scent. It doesnt leave a gritty feeling in my hair as some other dry shampoos do. It works quickly and doesnt require any drying time although if you wait a few seconds after spraying it does work better.
If you have dark hair it can leave a bit of a white residue on your roots but I find if you flip your head down and rub your fingers thrugh your roots it should dissipate, a quick shot of air from your hair dryer will aslo get rid of any excess powder that might be leving a residue.
I did try the tinted version thinking it would eliminate the residue problem but the brown tinted version is actually much worse for this as it leaves a funny brown residue in your hair. it actually stained my brush and was kind of gross. so I'd stick with the regular old original version in the green can. I havent tried the tropical version yet but recently bought a can because the scent is quite nice with a hint of mango and citrus.
The Batiste is a good product that I would recommend. It is not as great as high end, but is good of you are looking for a deal on a budget. It also comes in scents. I tried the "Blush" scent that smells like a nice floral which can really help to refresh dirty hair if you have an odor (like after the gym)! It does work as expected to absorb oils and give some volume. It did not leave a white residue.
Its an okay product. I find the spray a bit too "strong", leaving to much product in one place and making it difficult to really distribute it uniformly. I also find it doesn't brush out as nicely as I need it to, sometimes little white powder residue can be seen here and there. But it does the job, it makes my hair look less... greasy. Its good for busy days ut doesnt replace shampoo, I love the clean feeling.
You use this on the days you don't want to shampoo your hair but don't want to look greasy either. The product is a mousse, and I rub it into the roots of my hair to suck up the excess oils. After rubbing it in I really need to take a towel and rub dry my hair, otherwise I'm left with white flakes from the mousse. I have the pink one (forget what it's called) and I find it smells a bit too sweet. I also find the white flakes weird but, other than that, it does a great job of adding volume on my flat greasy hair days. This is one of those staple products that needs to be in every girls cabinet. A total life saver on greasy-hair-running-late-for-work days.
All of these worked the same, I have tested them all out for the passed 6 days and REALLY liked them. It's the same as any other shampoo, just shake the can and spray in short bursts, rub into the roots and comb out.
PROS:
*Best smell I have ever had in a dry shampoo
*It felt cool on your head so it felt refreshing
*Easy to Comb out (not much gray looking hair after)
*Did not leave any film or residue in my hair
*Didn't Leave a film all over my whole bathroom like other dry shampoos have
* I could actually wear my hair down after I did use this product
*Good Spray Nozzle
* Good price
CONS:
* Leaves my black hair Slightly gray/white color (Need to try the colored dry shampoo)
* Will not replace washing hair

This stuff is great for when you need a quick fix!
Normally I wash my hair every other day since I know you shouldn't wash it everyday and I've been trying to grow my hair out and get it healthy so sometimes I leave it longer than every other day. The problem I come across is that my hair sometimes get greasy/oily looking if I leave it over a day and a half. Problem solved! I got a few of the full size bottles of this and finally I decided to give it a try.
The bottle claims "revitalizes greasy, dull and lifeless hair between washes. Instantly leaves your hair feeling clean, full of body and smelling beautiful." This was true as far as I could tell. The scent was nice and I don't think it was ever overwhelming. My hair did look better after using it and definitely not really greasy anymore.
The bottle also says "Quick and convenient to use where ever you are." Again, true! I used this both at home before going out and while I was at work, it was a quick fiz when I needed it to be.
I would recommend this to those who are always on the go and busy and sometimes need a quick hair refresh! I think it would also be great for camping, trips, etc! Overall a good product.
I got a trial size can of the tropical scent, because there didn't seem to be any full size bottles around. I had never used a dry shampoo, but I wanted to be able to get an extra day out of a shampoo. I try to only wash every other day, but I have long hair and I am forever putting it up or taking it down, and it ends up getting oil around my hair line and where I touch it. With this dry shampoo I am able to spray it on the oily areas and it leaves my hair looking fresh and clean. I am very pleased with it. Now I have to find a store that carries the full size bottle!
