As a candle, it had no scent throw at all. When let, it had a beautiful lit glow in the glass container. However, when not lit, I would get whiffs of the vanilla amber scent when sitting on my couch. I loved that. Maybe I would repurchase if on sale (they sell this brand at Target, so it might be worth getting now with liquidation).
