Love non-dairy I’ve cream

At first I was a bit skepticism about the flavours. I also thought that it would be really hard to find Ben & Jerry’s non dairy ice creams in stores but it was a lot easier than I thought. The flavour was fine, although I’m not a fan of coconut flavoured foods, the quality was alright. I wish they had more flavours available since I’m lactose intolerant, more flavours would be swell. Thanks for the free ice cream!!

Great option for non-dairy ice cream!

This ice cream is a great substitute for regular Ben & Jerry's and will please anyone with dairy restrictions. While the ice cream was less creamy than the original Ben & Jerry's flavours, the taste was still there. In fact, I would recommend this ice cream as a substitute for anyone craving ice cream that wants a lighter option even if you don't have dairy restrictions.

Tasty, but I have a better choice if going Lactose Free

Alright so this is a nice tasty treat. The coconut tastes like it is meant to cover the aftertaste, as that is when you taste it and it simply sweetens whatever the creamy taste is (can not place whether I think it tastes like coconut milk or not). THIS IS NOT BAD! The almond and fudge taste literally as almond, and the fudge chip part is chocolate, so yumm.

ABOUT THIS DESSERT
Now if you are looking for a frozen dessert that is different and you do not want that dairy taste, this is a wonderful dessert in small portions. Even if you like dairy this is still delightful. It is creamy, and lightly sweet. No bad after taste in this flavour, but it does linger.
The chips are not so hard as to break teeth or hurt your jaw, however right out of the freezer this is pretty hard to scoop out of tub. Would not recommend the warm spoon method as I find this stuff melts a little fast as is, just make sure to use a sturdy spoon maybe.
I find that this is nothing I would ever crave though. I believe that is because of the combination of almond and coconut taste are too reminiscent of sad Dairy substitutes. The ingredients list soy and I really did not taste it directly so maybe this all comes down to my dislike for soy taste, perhaps that is the taste they are trying to cover and I caught a hint of it?

PRICE & DAIRY COMPARISON
You just can not compare to a dairy taste, I personally can not have dairy, but occasionally will take lactose pills to relieve some amount of pain. Stupid, yes, but worth it sometimes for the higher quality stuff. This being said if you want Ice-cream go get Chapman's Lactose Free Ice-cream, it tastes like ice cream and you can get larger sizes for cheaper (this costs $8.99 for 500ml and Chapman's is about $5.50 for 1L at my store). Also no need for lactose pills with it (vanilla is best flavour because you can add fruit, or syrups to change flavour as you please; others are good too though if a little too sweet for my taste) This is merely if you are avoiding Lactose and not the entirety of Dairy.

Very creamy and tasty

I loved this ice cream! Initially, I was overwhelmed with the coconur flavour. Once I got use to it, I was hooked. They fill the container right up to the too and dont cheap out on fudge chunks. It has a very creamy texture although it is quite firm (would recommend using a spoon warmed under warm water). Besides the coconut flavour you would even tell its vegan! The cost is pricey and would defer me from buying in the future unless on sale. I was not pleased to see that the vegan ice cream line is significantly more expensive than the non-vegan.

Great for anyone who is lactose intolerant

I was sent a coupon to try this out from Chick Advisor. I'm struggling with becoming more and more lactose intolerant as I age. A few years ago, eating ice cream didn't bother me. Now, causes horrible cramps that make me wish for death. Ben & Jerry's may be expensive, but it's a nice treat once in a while considering that I can't have ice cream anymore.

The taste is yummy. I tried one of their fudge ones in the past that I wasn't fond of. It was rich in flavour, and the texture was too off compare to the ice cream that I'm used to. This Coconut Almond Fudge Chip flavour is so yummy though! The texture is what I'm used to, and the taste is so yummy! It's like vanilla ice cream but with coconut flakes and chocolate chunks inside. You will want to thaw our the ice cream a bit before you eat it though. Maybe its because its dairy free, but tends to freeze rock solid.

Fudging delicious

First up i want to explain what is going on in this ice cream because the name was kind of confusing to me. Its a coconut milk ice cream with almond bits and chocolate chunks. If you dont like coconut milk i guess you wont be a fan of this one, but it made for a super rich ice cream*!
On the value side, this is pretty good. You have to class it as a premium lactose-free ice cream though, but at 7.47$ i would definetly buy it to treat myself once in a while.
Will recommend to any lactose intolerent friends going through a breakup or feel like they need a treat!

Great taste!

The coconut taste is awesome in this dairy-free ice cream! It’s just right, not too sweet, not too artificial. And not to mention the almond pieces that just made this ice cream so much better! Great combination!

Subtle, delicious flavour

I received a voucher for this product for free from Chick Advisor and Ben & Jerrys. This was my first time trying Ben and Jerry's ice cream and it did not disappoint!
One of the best things about this treat is that it's dairy free. My husband is lactose intolerant, so it's nice there is a dessert on the market he can enjoy with me.
I wasn't convinced that I would enjoy the coconut flavour, because I've had some coconut ice cream before and it wasn't pleasant. This one, however, was not overpowering and blended PERFECTLY with the almond bits and chocolate chunks. It also was perfectly sweet - not too much, but just enough. I'm very interested in trying other flavours as well.
One thing I will say is that this ice cream seemed very frozen very solid when I tried it - perhaps it's the recipe (lack of dairy) or how cold the supermarket freezer was set to. I'm willing to put that aside, because once I started eating it, it was nice and creamy. If you didn't tell me it didn't have dairy in it, I don't think I'd believe you!

The only real setback is that Ben & Jerry's is very expensive. If you're looking for a deal, you won't find it here. But if you're looking for literally the BEST ice cream you've ever had in your life...this is where it's at!

Better than I thought it would be!

I wasn't expecting much trying this. I was part of the review club selected for a free sample. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of this dessert! You would never know its not ice cream so it is a great alternative for those people who do not or cannot eat dairy!

Amazing Ice Cream You Have to Try!

I was thrilled to try the new Ben & Jerry's Non-Dairy Coconut Almond Fudge Chip ice cream and it didn't disappoint! I loved the creamy texture - melt-in-your-mouth perfection! The flavours were well-balanced and I loved the chunks of chocolate - lots of chocolate! - and real coconut flakes throughout the ice cream. This is high-quality ice cream that's worth a try!
