I'm 31 years old and have skin that thinks I'm still 16. It's really bad sometimes. I had been using Noxema religiously since it seemed to be the only thing that didn't make my skin any worse. I saw this line advertised on TV, then saw it on sale so figured I might as well try it out. I'm beyond happy that I did! This has actually improved my skin whereas Noxema just kept it where it was. I always have break outs on my chin and jaw line, and that area is basically clear now. I don't use the lotion (step 3) just the cleanser and serum and I'm thrilled with the results. It stinks, honestly, and the serum will sting the bejeezus out of any open breakouts, but if you can ignore the smell and the momentary ouch factor, this will definitely help you!

I love this mascara! I usually use the black formula because its so dramatic, but i use this mascara when i want a more natural lash look. It provides the right amount of definition and volume and doesnt flake off at all! The best thing about this mascara is it is super easy to wash off. Usually i just use some water on a cotton pad, i dont even need makeup remover!

This is a pretty decent mascara! However, the price is a bit high. It has the same awesome big bristles, that give good volume, definition and length. It sometimes flakes and clumps. The color shows up somewhat alright on my eyelashes.

Purple is my favourite colour, I'm so surprised there aren't more companies that make a purple mascara! It's fantastic and gives just a hint of purple, so you don't look outlandish. Just enough for someone to take notice!!

I have tried the regular Benefit Badgal mascara (in black) and was pretty satisfied with the results so i decided to try it again in its plum version, which is supposed to highlight and intensify your eye color. The packaging is very pretty, it's in a dark purplish tube with a gold cap with the word plum across it in cursive, much like the original and blue versions.

Formula/Brush: I really liked the formula, which added volume, length, and a subtle lift to my lashes with no clumping at all. Possibly this is because of the brush, which is larger than your average mascara brush and does take a little getting used to. However, that's not to say it's difficult to work with or an awkward design, it's just a bigger version of a regular mascara brush. Another good thing about the formula is that it's easier to apply several coats without the scraggly lumps you sometimes get from other mascaras. And it also doesn't flake or smudge, and perhaps best of all it washes off easily and doesn't even need makeup remover!

Color: Unfortunately, I got this mascara hoping it would warm up my boring dark brown eyes, but even after two coats there was barely a perciptible difference. However, this does mean that you don't have to worry about people taking one look at you and noticing that your lashes are indeed purple, as it's a pretty subtle dark plum. But it does mean that you might be better off with a different brand or maybe Badgal Blue to brighten your eye color.

Overall, I would recommend this mascara because of its formula, not its color, so if you're really wanting one that will intensify and highlight your eye color (as I still am) I would probably not buy this. For its price I say it's worth it, as it is very comparable to other mascaras in its price range (Smashbox Bionic, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes, etc)
