Great for kids!

I’ve read so many amazing reviews on this brand and it is definitely a product I will be using throughout the summer! I am always careful to apply SPF on my whole family and this will be a new staple.

Worked great

Thanks for sending this one to me for review, I didn’t LOVE it but I would buy it again.
The consistency was just slightly too runny for me- but because it worked so well and didn’t leave a white patch I would buy it again especially for the kids!

Sunscreen

To me there wasn’t anything extra special about this product but over all it does exactly what it’s suppose to do which is protect you from
The sun, I didn’t have any burns or worries when using it, my face felt fine. As well as my skin, my only issue is like most North American sunscreens it doesn’t always feel like it blends into the skins but rather is just surfacing your skin, I wish it rubbed in better. Over all great product

Not a fan of the scent

I burn easily, so I'm always looking for a sunblock with a high spf. This Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Lotion has an SPF of 50, which is perfect! The first thing I noticed is that the container is properly sealed. This is important to me because I've bought sunscreen in the past that wasn't properly sealed, and I was concerned that it may have been tampered with. I was surprised that the lotion was thinner than I thought it would be. I'm used to thick sunblock, but as long as this product does its job, it doesn't matter in the end. The scent is very strange to me. I don't enjoy it at all. I'm hoping it will grow on me. It smells strange on my skin as well.
I found that it blends in to my skin really well, and didn't leave a white cast.
The effectiveness of the sunscreen seems fine so far, but the real test will be in the summer months. I will continue to use this sunscreen until the bottle is empty, but I'm not sure at this point if I would purchase it again in the future.

Wonderful option for sunscreen

Sunscreen is something I wear everyday and while I rarely change brands, the Blue Lizard sunscreen caught my attention as it is formulated for sensitive skin, and is a mineral based sunscreen. The bottle was easy to squeeze for product, however it is a little hard to control being a squeeze format. The texture felt fresh and absorbed easily.

A little runny, but leave no residue!

One thing I am extremely picky about when looking for a sunscreen is whether it leaves the white cast residue on your skin, even after attempting to rub it in. Although the texture of this product is a little runnier than I would like, it was very easy to rub in and left no residue which is great. In terms of sun protection, I live in Canada and it's currently April with temperature hovering around 10 degrees celcius, so I can't speak to how well it protects from a sun potency perspective (but knowing it's SPF 50, it should do the job)!

In terms of scent, it didn't really smell like much which is also a benefit, as I've experienced some stinky sunscreens in the past.

Good mineral sunscreen 50 SPF

Good mineral sunscreen 50 SPF. It doesn't have a strong scent, I would say it's pretty unscented.
Easy to apply and it lasts. Very good protection. It does leave a whitish residue on the face and it's a bit oily so not the best to wear on the face although under makeup should be ok for anyone.
The sunscreen is very runny. I suggest another kind of packaging with a pump because it could be very messy when you turn the bottle and the product starts coming out instantly.

Works great

I really enjoy this sunscreen but it's not the best to use on your face if that's your plan. it leaves a bit of a ghostly white cast behind. it smells great and hasn't broken me out anywhere.

Great for sensitive skin

Love that's it specifically for sensitive skin and non irritating the formula is pretty liquid so be careful when squeezing product out a little goes a long way it blends in nicely into the skin

Great spf, not a must buy

Great spf. Effective and works well with my other skincare when worn underneath or over the top! Left a slight white cast on my skin as I got more tanned, but otherwise great.

I think there’s slightly too much plastic in the packaging, it can definitely be cut down. Also it’s a bit small. Spf bottles keep getting smaller and smaller these days but the price remains the same or even goes up. These products are meant to be liberally used and I would love to see the product size more in line with that.
