Great kids sunscreen

It went on really clear you couldn’t tell my son was wearing sunscreen no white sheen. I really like the fact that it was SPF 50, mineral based and that it had blue algae in it that is beneficial for your skin. This will definitely be my go to sunscreen when we are in the water this summer as it is water resistant up to 80 minutes. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

Standard Sunscreen

This sunscreen is standard. I like that I doesn't have much of a smell so I don't notice it as much when I'm wearing it. I think the UV colour changing cap is a neat and useful idea!

great new sunscreen for my kids

I like that this sunscreen is easy to apply and rub in. It has a nice texture and doesn't feel greasy. I would definitely buy this again in the future once this container is finished

I'm not a huge fan of wearing sunscreen, but I will tell you I will be wearing this all summer. It doesn't feel greasy or like it's just sitting on your skin. I love how it has broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. There's no Oxybenzone or Octinoxate in it. I'll definitely be using this going forward.

Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50. It's a great an safe sunscreen for our Kids. Soft on the skin, perfect protection an hydratation. No perfume. It on a long time. Easy to apply, non greassy . You'll love it. You should give it a try. For me it's a 5/5 stars.

Great Protection with a Few Minor Quirks

I’ve been using Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for a few days now, and overall, it’s an excellent choice for sun protection, especially for little ones with sensitive skin.

What I love most is the broad-spectrum protection and zinc oxide-based formula, which feels safer and gentler than chemical sunscreens. It provides long-lasting coverage, even during water play, and I feel confident knowing it’s reef-safe and free from parabens and fragrances.

The smart bottle design that changes color in UV light is a fun and practical feature — a great visual reminder to reapply. Plus, the lotion doesn’t sting eyes, which is a big deal for active kids.

My only minor complaint is the thick texture. Like many mineral sunscreens, it takes a bit more effort to rub in completely and can leave a slight white cast, especially on deeper skin tones. That said, it’s a tradeoff I’m willing to make for the peace of mind it offers.

Highly recommend for parents looking for a reliable, kid-friendly sunscreen that holds up well in the sun and water.

I have been using this product on my daughter for a week now. This product is nice and it is not at all irritating. When I rub it on my daughter it disappears and does not make the skin feel sticky or irritated. In fact it feels like you applied nothing. Great to use

Magic with a bonus - UV protection

Real talk - Blue Lizard Kids SPF 50 might be the first sunscreen I don't completely hate. That UV-sensitive cap that turns blue in sunlight is such a smart way to remind me when it's time to reapply. I was worried about the mineral formula leaving that classic white cast, but this actually blends in completely on my skin after rubbing. It's thicker than the chemical stuff, sure, but absorbs in a few minutes and doesn't sting the eyes.
It was put it to the test at a hike and long day in the sun. The water resistance held up too. What I really appreciate is what's not in it - no oxybenzone or octinoxate, which makes me feel better about using it regularly. The bottle is smaller than I expected though - at 89mL we're going through it pretty fast with daily use and reapplying once the summer is in full force. And fair warning, it does need a some elbow grease to rub in completely.
After trying probably a dozen sunscreens, this is the first one where you can get a kid to cooperate during application- bonus is the color-changing cap - magic, and I think the gentle formula doesn't bother her sensitive skin and it is great for all types. It's become my go-to for everyday use and everything in between.
