Great for Babies

It's nota greasy sunblock , very light scent, rubs on smoothly, stays on long, works well on all ages as an adult I use kids sunblock and it worked on me just as well as for kids. If feel it has a thick feeling which makes it stay on longer then other brands I normally use. I have a piece of mind knowing Blue Lizard works well from getting burnt.

Really nice product!

This product went on quite nicely, not leaving behind any residue and rubbed in fairly quickly. It leaves a slight shine to your skin until it's completely absorbed, which makes it easier to see where you've already allied the product. There is also no harsh scent unlike some other sunscreens, so those with sensitivities should be able to use this product as well.

The Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 is perfect for beach days! It provides excellent sun protection, making it ideal for long hours of outdoor play and fun in the sun. The SPF 50 formula gives me peace of mind, knowing my kids are well-protected. What I love most is that my kids don't complain about stickiness—it's comfortable to wear. It's gentle on their skin and water-resistant, which is a huge plus. Definitely a must-have for sunny adventures!

Love that it's made with blue algae!!!

The main thing that intrigued me about this particular sunscreen is that it's made with blue algae. Blue algae has so many benefits for the skin, especially when out in the sun so this is perfect. My son likes that the scent is pleasant, but not over powering and that it doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. 10/10 recommend!!!!

Great sunscreen for kids

Great sunscreen for kids. It is easy to apply, water resistant and stays on. I apply it once in the morning before my kids head to school and pack it in their backpacks for when they need to re-apply in the afternoon. It doesn't have a strong smell or leave a greasy feeling on their skin but keeps them fully protected throughout the day. My kids also appreciated the fun packaging and design.

Great sunscreen but leaves a cast on dark skin

I recently tested the Blue Lizard mineral sunscreen on my daughter and wanted to share my honest thoughts after using it.

First, I really like the consistency of the sunscreen. It’s smooth, easy to apply, and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It also didn’t leave her skin feeling dry, which is often a concern with some sunscreens so that was a pleasant surprise.

One of the biggest positives for me is that it’s a mineral sunscreen, which I always prefer when choosing products for my daughter’s sensitive skin.

That said, there is one thing to note for parents of children with darker skin tones: the product does leave a white cast. It’s not extreme, but it is visible. With a bit of extra effort to massage it in thoroughly, the cast becomes more subtle, but it’s still something to be aware of.

Overall, I think it’s a great, gentle, and effective sunscreen, especially if you’re prioritizing mineral-based protection. I would recommend it, but with the caveat that those with darker skin tones may need to take some time to blend it in well.
