Best one yet for kids

The only sunscreen I will use on my babies. Works well and is natural. I appreciate that it isn’t too greasy and we use a make up brush sometimes. It dries fast and we apply every few hours. No burns yet at all and we live outdoors.

Sun’s out, but we’re covered!

This is the only brand of sunscreen I trust for my entire family. I have every form this sunscreen comes in and several around the house, camper, car and purse! I Love using the spray sunscreen if I’m in a rush or to use as touch ups while we’re out during the summer! My daughter has a bottle of the spray in her backpack to use while at school.
This sunscreen absorbs quickly leaving your skin covered but not sticky!

Protection at its finest!

This is a wonderful sun screen that is great on all skin types. I love that it has UVB/UVA sun protection for my kids delicate skin. We do a lot of camping and spend a lot of time outdoors and at the beach! So I definitely need this Blue Lizard 50 SPF sun protection! I highly recommend this. It sprays on white and you rub it in and it dries clear and works for hours! A perfect product for my family! I also love that it’s a sprayer, creams can be so messy!

Safe for sun and sensitive skin

Quick absorbing, minimal fragrance, and easy to apply with the spray applicator. I liked that there was broad spectrum protection, and that it was water resistant, making it an easy choice as my sunscreen when going to the beach or to the pool.

Great Kids Sunscreen!

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I do, since kids’ sunscreens can be hit or miss, but this one actually impressed me. The spray goes on super easily (not too sticky or greasy), and it doesn’t have that overwhelming sunscreen smell. It’s mineral-based, which I usually find a bit chalky, but this one feels lightweight and comfortable on my skin.

Something that really stood out to me is that it stays put. Even after a full afternoon of running around, sweating, and swimming, I didn’t feel the need to reapply constantly. It also didn’t cause any irritation, which is a huge win for sensitive skin.

Honestly, whether you’re using it for kids or just want something gentle and reliable, this one deserves a spot in your summer bag.

Good Protection, But Not the Best Choice for Toddl

I tested the Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Spray SPF 50 on my children, and while it delivers solid sun protection and water resistance, it’s not the most convenient option for younger kids.

Pros:
• Offers strong SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection — my kids didn’t get any sunburns even after long playtime outdoors.
• Water-resistant for 80 minutes, which is great for swimming or sweaty summer days.
• Mineral-based and reef-friendly — no Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, and safe for sensitive skin.
• Dries clear, no white cast.

Cons:
• The spray format isn’t ideal for toddlers — it’s hard to apply it directly on squirmy little ones without getting it in their eyes or nose.
• I didn’t like the smell — it has a noticeable scent that lingered longer than I’d prefer.
• The feeling on my hands after rubbing it in (especially on the face) was unpleasant — kind of greasy and hard to wash off.

Final thoughts:
This sunscreen works well and is gentle on kids’ skin, but I’d personally opt for a cream or stick format for better control and less mess with younger children.

Kid Lizards

Blue Lizard Kids sunscreen is effective and quite water-resistant. I don’t like the spray and would likely use a cream version. It is not a continuous spray and seems kind of spotty while spraying. It also runs out quickly. It is however, very water-resistant, to the point that washing your hands after application- it doesn’t seem to come off much. Overall, I would recommend Blue Lizard, but in cream form.

Really amazing sunscreen

Easy and convenient sun protection for kids

The sunscreen was very easy to use. I love the spray on application because it makes it easier to apply sunscreen with antsy kids. It feels light, absorbs quickly and is not sticky like sunscreen usually is. I like that it is reef friendly and safe for kids. Overall, highly recommend this product to keep everyone’s skin safe for the summer.

Blue Lizard...not just for kids

This is a wonderful product. It feels great on the skin, very easy to apply. There is a little bit of a greasy feel but not overwhelming. There is also some dusty air particles but again not overwhelming. It is to be expected for this type of product. The smell is great for a sun screen. I would definitely use again.
