Great company, but not a fan of this product.

I've heard of this brand, and this is the first chance I had to try it. What I 'know' and have seen in stores is that the products are typically quite steep in cost, but claim to be healthy and wholesome, stemming from a tradition of "honest-to-goodness" approach (according to Bob's website). It's a cute husband and wife story of how they created this brand, focused on provided consumers with healthy and natural products. I LOVE the fact that they created an Employee Stock Ownership Program in that all of their employees are actually employee-owners ! This is remarkable!

As a sidenote to this product, if you look on their website, they also offer many recipes, guides to their products, and even cooking classes!

I tried the Old Country Style Muesli, which is a mix of whole grain wheat, rolled oats, raisins, almonds and walnuts. It can be eaten hot or cold. To be honest, it wasn't the BEST muesli I've ever had, and with similar products, you can actually eat them 'raw' like a granola. However, this product is quite 'raw' and requires cooking, either hot or cold. You really need to cook the wheat and oats, and the raisins and nuts need to be roasted/toasted or cooked in some way. Would I buy this again? Probably not.

The brand is worth trying, if for no other reason than their incredible story!

Bob's Red Mill is a well known for its wholesome and nutritious products, which I greatly enjoy. The muesli cereal is one of their absolutely amazing products. Its use is endless. You can incorporate it in baking goods, such as nutritious bars. It is fuel to get you started in the morning, curbs my hunger and is loaded with the best nutrients possible, for a healthy diet
