Tastes pretty good

I got this product for free and I'm pretty glad I did because I never would have tried this on my own as I usually don't buy big name brands.

I could not find this in my area. I live in a small place so I actually had to wait until I went to a bigger city.

I'm a huge fan of chocolate and this definitely does not disappoint. It's creamy a pretty delicious.

Supposedly it has very few calories in it and you you really wouldn't be able to guess. It doesn't have that sucky diet flavour that things like this usually have.

I would totally recommend this!

Fudgsicle in ice cream form.

Took a while to find, but my store finally stocked these! I had a hard time deciding between flavours (I'm not super into sweet flavours, and vanilla is usually my go-to) but figured I'd see how authentic and rich their chocolate was (as 'healthy' chocolate products tend to taste weak, oily or bland) -- we were impressed!
The flavour is 100% like a fudgsicle, and the texture was slightly less rich and creamy than usual ice cream but by no means watery. I know some people had issues with their cartons being melted/'half full' so I think the lighter texture contributes to its lighter volume and faster melting rate, but its so lovely to eat -- like a soft serve texture. It also wasn't extremely sweet, it was a real dark chocolate flavour with almost a bit of malt.
The price is quite steep; the carton is about 1/3 the size of a regular one but same price, but as a treat I'd definitely buy this again.
Because of the balanced sweetness, I'll definitely look at trying the vanilla and cookie flavours, though I'm sad the full range isn't offered in Canada (as usual :( )

Tasty and creamy

I received this product free in return for my honest opinion.

Breyers is a name most people trust when it comes to ice cream, and they are keeping with that high quality with their new line of low calorie ice cream. I tried the creamy chocolate, which, true to its name, was both creamy and chocolatey. I definitely wouldn't have known it was a special, low calorie product had I not know ahead of time. I typically expect these products to be thin and icy, and lacking in flavour. This ice cream was none of those and something I'd consider purchasing if I needed low calorie AND it was on sale.

Better than i expected

I wasn't really sure what to expect with this, being a lower calorie ice cream. It had a great flavor and it was creamy. I think I expected it to be gritty but it was not at all.
I am looking forward to trying the other flavor.

J'ai eu de la difficulté à le retrouver dans ma région mais j'ai réussis!!!! J'ai adoré le goût et la texture de cette crème glacée! Par contre, j'ai trouvé qu'elle était chère et pour cette raison je ne pense pas en racheter sauf si elle est en spécial! Merci beaucoup pour la belle cuillère bleue!

Great surprise

I tried the chocolate flavor and i loved the taste!
Not the best ice cream i ever had, i have to admit, but you get a pretty good product for the price.

Surprisingly Good for a low calorie icecream

I was sceptical but hopeful about this product. A quick glance at the ingredients list confirmed my fears: this product contained fake sugar products, but if I remember correctly, it was only stevia. I hate stevia usually, but some products manage to hide the weird flavour passably.

I would definitely say this ice cream did a nice job of masking the stevia flavour. It managed to be both light and creamy, not a really heavy cream based ice cream of course. The nutrition facts suggest you eat this in 4 servings, which would be doable, but I may have eaten it in 2. It tasted decadant without making me feel awful, and while there is a slight fake-sugar aftertaste, the overall taste of the icecream grew on me very quickly. I could definitely see myself buying this in the future as a treat for myself, and would recommend it to someone looking for a lower calorie, lower sugar option.

A delicious treat!

I was stoked to be selected to review Breyers Delights Creamy Chocolate ice cream! I used my coupon at Wal-Mart, where I was a little shocked at the price. I'm normally a frugal spender, so with a price of over $4, I'm not sure that I would purchase unless it were on sale or I had a coupon.
That being said, the flavor is fabulous! It's rich and creamy, with just enough sweetness to satisfy the craving. I'm not normally one to purchase ice cream unless it's packed with peanut buttery goodness, but I did quite enjoy the single chocolate flavor packed in Breyers Delights! I'm hoping they'll introduce new flavors in this line.

Friggin yummy breyers chocolate ice cream

Honestly i never really bought breyers before i was able to try this breyers ice cream. Thanks to chickadviser i #gotitfree and i was amazed at how yummy the chocolate ice cream was. The price is abit much but if ur into the small pricey tubs then its perfect for ya. I will get it again however only as a treat :) well done breyers. Thank u!

Yummy Icecream with fewer calories!

I thought that this ice cream was delicious. It tasted of good quality chocolate and didn't have any flavours that often come with lower calorie foods (sucralose, sweetener). It tasted just like a full-fat version, aka delicious.

That being said, it did have an aftertaste that came a few minutes after eating, Not entirely unpleasant, just kind of odd. It was an entirely different aftertaste than ice cream usually has.

I'm not sure that I would buy this product. It is very expensive for the amount of ice cream that you get. I can buy an entire 4 L tub of ice cream for the same price. Sure, you could argue about quality over quantity, but as it tastes the same I don't see the plus side of that argument. Other low calorie options exist, and unless this one was on sale, I would likely choose a product with more bang for my buck.
