I got the chance to sample the ice cream for free through the Product Review Club, and it happened to be on sale for $3.99 when I picked mine up (regular $7.99), so along with my Straberries and Cream ice cream, I picked up the chocolate for my husband (and for me to taste!).
I had my doubts about a low-fat ice cream, but Breyers did not disappoint! The ice cream was surprisingly creamy and DID NOT taste fat-free at all! Even the strawberry swirled in the vanilla was surprisingly fresh tasting, and weren't too sugary like many strawberry desserts are. It was definitely creamier than ANY low-fat ice cream I've ever had - even better than some regular ice creams I've tasted! The chocolate didn't disappoint either - creamy and super chocolatey! I will definitely be recommending this to my friends, and will be going back to try the novelty items that are offered in the line as well!

I was lucky enough to be able to sample a free Breyers Smooth and Dreamy ice cream product. I chose the Triple Chocolate Chip ice cream bar. What a fantastic decision I made! These bars retail for $7.49 at the grocery store which I would normally find to be too much for an ice cream product, but for a special treat, these ice cream bars are worth it! Also, he box comes with 6 bars which I find also makes the product worth the money, considering many companies only include 4 bars.

The chocolatey flavour so good, and not chemically tasting like a lot of low calorie/low-fat ice cream products are. I would certainly consider this ice cream bar to be of high quality, and far worth the price of it. The texture of the ice cream is really smooth, and there are just the right amount of chocolate chips within it. The chocolate dip around the ice cream bar is just as fantastic as the rest of the ice cream bar is.

If I was given this ice cream bar without being told what it was, never would I have known that it was a low-calorie ice cream. I think that the taste and quality is comparable to other high quality ice cream bars that are loaded with fat and calories.

I would certainly recommend this product to anyone I meet, and it has officially become my new go-to treat when I deserve to splurge a little on a snack.

I tried Breyers Smooth & Dreamy for the first time and it was great!! I'm a HUGE fan of ice cream (my first ever job was at Dairy Queen, which helped to feed my addiction). I've tried light and low-cal ice cream before and I always thought you could taste the difference. But what's really cool about Smooth & Dreamy is that it tastes just as good as regular ice cream, but it's only half the fat! I tried 2 flavours: Coffee Fudge Brownie and Creamy Chocolate and they were both delicious! The price is a bit expensive for ice cream, but it's worth it!


Also, I very highly recommend looking at the recipes on the Breyer's website - they tell you how to make all kinds of ice cream cakes that look fantastic!

AMAZING ice cream! I was part of the ChickAdvisor event so was able to sample a variety of the favours. My favourite was the Dulce de Leche because of the amount of caramel. It reminded me of when I was a kid growing up always eating butterscotch ice cream, but this time more intense flavor. The Mocha Fudge Brownie ice cream even had little pieces of real brownie! It was a stronger mocha taste so if you're a coffee lover this will be your favourite.

You could tell the high cream was a higher quality because the ingredients were rich and creamy. It's surprising that it's half the fat because it sure didn't taste like half the flavor. I'd definitely continue to buy this one over other brands not only because of the taste and variety of flavors, but mainly because it's less fat. Two thumbs up for Breyer's new Smooth and Creamy line.
