I had higher expectations

I normally love Burt’s Bee’s products, but this just didn’t do it for me. I was intrigued because I loved the swatches I saw online. The colours are very pretty, but that’s about it.

I purchased this for around $10 at Shoppers Drug Mart which is reasonably priced.

I purchased the shade “Pink Lagoon”. It seemed to be a brighter pink online, but when I applied it, it was more of a frosty pink. In this case, I felt that swatch was inaccurate.

The lip balm itself was also very drying. I had to apply lip balm first, then the lip crayon and then more lip balm on top because of how drying it was.

It’s really too bad. I love the colours, but there’s definitely better products out there.

Pleasantly surprised!!!

I purchased the Burt's Bees Matte Lip crayon spur of the moment when I was looking for a natural lip colour for a passport photo.

I ended up loving this stuff and take it with me wherever I go! Because it's matte it looks very natural and it doesn't easily get smudged or wipe off accidentally.

I'm in my mid 30's and have never worn lipsticks - only chapstick, lip stains or lip balm however this stuff has converted me! My go to colour is Niagara Overlook.

When I run out of this stuff I would certainly repurchase!

Best lip crayon around

I love this lip crayon from burts bees because its made with a lot of natural products but gives my lips colour like a lipstick. It doesn't dry out my lips and goes on smoothly

I love the way the Burts Bee Lip Crayon GLIDES on and can really last for HOURS! It also made me lips look so smooth and plump! I have always been a fan of Burts Bee products and this is a top 5 for sure!

More like a balm than a lip crayon but really good.

I have this in the shade Niagara Overlook. It's a really wearable pink shade that it perfect during the day. Even though it says its a lip crayon, its more like a lip balm with a high tint. IT goes on pretty sheer if you go with one layer, but I can build it up either 2 or 3 passes. Its really comfortable on my lips and its really quick to apply. IT doesn't last a very long time, but I don't mind reapplying it. Id rather have a comfortable lip product that I have to reapply than an uncomfortable one that lasts for hours.

Great lip crayon

Most lip crayon I have tried leave my lips dry. This is an exception. Love the feel of lipstick while enabling you to use it for contouring and giving you that natural look.

My new favourite lip balm/stick.

The niagara colour is not too dramatic but not too plain. It goes on smooth. Not chalky. It’s a lip balm but also a lip stick in one! I like how it’s a crayon, thick application. Easy to use with the big tip. You have to apply it every couple hours but it keeps my lips smooth and vibrant.

Au Natural from Burt's Bees

I purchased Burt's Bees new lip crayon in the shade Niagara Overlook. It's a light pinkish shade that provides a more natural hint of colour for those of us who are fair-skinned, rather than something really bold that would draw attention to the mouth area. If you want more colour, applying a few times seems to works well. They have many other shades, which I think will be worth trying out.

The formula is very hydrating with shea butter and other moisturizing ingredients, so it is perfect for when you need some extra moisture to your lips.

There is a lot of transfer, so if you are looking for a long-lasting, transfer-proof lipstick, this wouldn't be it. However, it seemed to last a few hours and even after the lipstick fades, leaves a nice pink tinge to the lips.

I really like the sleek tube with the crayon application, as it makes it much easier to apply and for the price, it's a great deal for the quality and quantity that you get.

The Burt's Bees Lip Crayon glides on smoothly and leaves a nice colour. I did find however it wore off fairly quickly, though it did make my lips softer in the process. Its easy to re-apply, even without a mirror!

This is possibly one of my favorite lipstick . It hydrates my lips , the colors are gorgeous and it does not stain. But it's true that you must reapply a few times per day.
