Banging good bacon

I tried the Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon and it’s pretty good. Has a nice smoky flavor, crisps up nicely if you cook it a little longer, and doesn’t leave a greasy mess. Definitely leaner than regular bacon, so the texture’s different. This is really great option for BTL breakfast sandwiches.

lighter taste

I found the taste to be lighter and less saltier than regular bacon. In fact, it taste a little bit like spam after frying it, and i happen to like spam. Not bad at all! i quite enjoy the healthy alternative.

A great healthy alternative

Great healthy alternative to pork side bacon. No grease left in the frying pan like pork or splatter oil.

I couldn't really taste the smoked apple wood but did find that if you make it really crispy like my spouse likes it it becomes like leather.

I like the fact that when I cook it, it close to the size of the slice I placed it in the frying pan. Where with the pork bacon it can be tricky with the fat content in it being cooked up.

I would likely purchase this again when I want something different, but it isn't something I would switch totally too. Happy it is saying it is gluten free, so my a few of friends can help it as well if and when they visit.

Not exactly like bacon

I tried turkey bacon for the first time. It was unusual for me because I didn’t even know it existed before. Since I love turkey, I decided to give it a try. The taste is pretty good, and I think it’s a nice alternative to regular bacon.

Great turkey bacon!

Hands down the beat turkey bacon I have had. The smoked applewood adds a really nice flavour. I think the most shocking park about this turkey bacon is that my super picky 8 year old absolutely devoured it & asked for a second helping. This has become a regular addition to our monthly shopping list.

Gluten free and tastes good!

Sometimes I just want a quick protein option that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and this is the one I keep going back to. It cooks fast, crisps up nicely if you want it to, and doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste like some others I’ve tried. I appreciate that it’s lower in fat, doesn’t contain pork, and it’s gluten free which makes it easier to share with family or guests who have dietary preferences. It’s not salty or fake-tasting, and honestly, I don’t miss regular bacon when this is on hand. It’s one of those easy wins for breakfast wraps or tossing into a salad. Just super reliable.

A great source of protein to infuse into your diet

Being on a weightloss journey so far, getitng my protein intake in every day ahs been a huge priority to feel full and fulfilled on a day to day basis. I'm always looking for new ways to incorporate more portein options into my diet and Butterball is a great option. I cannot eat beef that much and these came in so handy at end of summer barbecues and I appreciated the they were so low in calories in 35 calories a slice and with 5 g of protein per slice. I felt like I could still be eating healthy and within my macro while I was enjoying a delicious meal.
