lighter taste

I found the taste to be lighter and less saltier than regular bacon. In fact, it taste a little bit like spam after frying it, and i happen to like spam. Not bad at all! i quite enjoy the healthy alternative.

A great healthy alternative

Great healthy alternative to pork side bacon. No grease left in the frying pan like pork or splatter oil.

I couldn't really taste the smoked apple wood but did find that if you make it really crispy like my spouse likes it it becomes like leather.

I like the fact that when I cook it, it close to the size of the slice I placed it in the frying pan. Where with the pork bacon it can be tricky with the fat content in it being cooked up.

I would likely purchase this again when I want something different, but it isn't something I would switch totally too. Happy it is saying it is gluten free, so my a few of friends can help it as well if and when they visit.

Thank you @ButterballCanada and @thusisButterly for selecting me to #trybeforebuying. As I probably would never have tried it at all. Always appreciate another product that my household can have every so often.

Not exactly like bacon

I tried turkey bacon for the first time. It was unusual for me because I didn’t even know it existed before. Since I love turkey, I decided to give it a try. The taste is pretty good, and I think it’s a nice alternative to regular bacon.

No mess cooking

This turkey bacon has a really nice flavour, cooks up easily & best of all no greasy mess left behind in the pan. It’s not as chewy as pork bacon, but lighter and still so satisfying.

The flavour is on point!

This turkey bacon's flavour was quite good and comparable to pork bacon, however, I would compare the texture more like to be back bacon, it had more of a chewier consistency.
I only complaint is I wish they would have come in a receivable bag as I’m the only one in the house at this time that eats turkey bacon.

The Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon is a tasty, easy to cook and less fat alternative to regular Bacon. I like that I can cook this Bacon and not receive burns from the grease spraying.

I tried Butterball Turkey Bacon for free from Butterball Canada and Butterly in exchange for my honest review.

This was my first time trying turkey bacon, and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, and I was quite surprised that when I opened the package, it smelled like regular bacon!

I decided to cook the turkey bacon in the air fryer. I made a little bit of a mistake by using the crisp function and I pretty much made the turkey bacon into turkey jerky! I did give it another try in the air fryer, and this time it turned out perfectly. The turkey bacon was nice and flavourful. I like my bacon a little bit crispy, but mostly soft, so I cooked it the same with the turkey bacon and it tasted great! I am happy to have this option instead of regular bacon any time!

Turkey bacon

We enjoyed eating the turkey bacon. We tried it free and it was yummy. Even the kids liked it and asked for a second. We’ll be buying it again. It’s a lot less greasy then regular bacon. It’s a lot healthier as well which is an added benefit. Will be looking forward to my next purchase.

Eat only while hot, tastes great

Thank you @thisisbutterly and Butterball for this package of Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey bacon to try for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
I cooked them on the frying pan and they cook about the same time as pork bacon. The taste is great, cannot complain. But they must be eaten while hot, as they turn quite hard and difficult to chew when they cool. I have included a picture of 4 of them at different times in the cooking process. As you can see, they start to bubble when they are ready. I love that they are sulfate and soy free!

Tastes great

This turkey bacon is a great healthier alternative to traditional bacon. It tastes great. My only complaint is that it doesn't crisp up like traditional bacon does when cooking.
