Butterball Turkey Bacon

Surprisingly flavourful and crisp for turkey bacon! The applewood smoked taste adds a lovely depth, and it pairs perfectly with eggs and avocado for a healthier breakfast. It’s lean, not greasy at all, and cooks quickly. I just wish the slices were a little thicker, but overall, it’s a great alternative to regular bacon and a guilt-free treat I’ll be buying again.

Extra special breakfast!

In our house, bacon and eggs have always been known as “special breakfast.” Recently, we made it extra special by trying Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon.

I cooked the turkey bacon in a pan for about 7 minutes until it reached our perfect level of crispiness. Compared to traditional pork bacon, it has 85% less fat, which means it is a healthier alternative with far less grease splatter and an easier clean-up (something I truly appreciate). The applewood smoke gives it a rich, savory flavor that made us feel like we had a restaurant style breakfast.

One thing to note is that the texture is different from regular bacon, which might take a little getting used to if you’re making the switch. However, I found it light, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling greasy afterwards.

Overall, Butterball’s Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon made our family breakfast feel extra special while still being a lighter, cleaner option. It’s a great choice for those who want to enjoy the flavor of bacon with less fat and mess.

Great Healthy Bacon!

We really enjoyed this bacon! «Regular» bacon is pretty unhealthy. Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon has a lot less calories and fat than our usual brand, so we can enjoy this more often! Of course, it’s not exactly the same as pork bacon. It doesn’t seem to get as crispy, which makes sense with a much lover fat content. We’ve had this on a Caesar salad, and I can’t wait to try it with eggs. Thanks Butterball!

Yummy

This tasted just like pork bacon but is way better for you. I lived how easy it was to make in the microwave- much shorter than regular bacin, and the pieces are bigger. There was a warning not to overcook so I need to play around with time to get it to the crispiiness I like but thoroughly impressed with this.

Great breakfast

Just tried the Butterball applewood smoked turkey and love the slightly smoking flavour. I cooked it a bit longer for the crispy texture, made a great breakfast!

Low in fat and tasty !

Perfect for breakfast or brunch, this turkey bacon is still very good and much less fatty than pork bacon. Easy and quick to prepare, it is however less crispy than pork bacon and looks more like a grilled ham in the end. Its taste is good and it is a nice alternative for those who do not like pork or find it too fatty, however it is rather salty which unfortunately reduces its health effect in my opinion. There is a also a salt reduced version of this bacon which in my opinion would be more appreciated here in my family.
