I still have my Canon PowerShot SX110 IS, and I LOVE it! I love how it has an easy to use Macro setting, and several different scene settings for things like beach pics, and fireworks. It still takes great photos, and is very easy to use.

My old point and shoot died and I had to find a new one. I'm interested in photography and wanted something more than a standard point and shoot but don't know enough to buy a Rebel. This was a great compromise. It gives all the features, and a few more, of a standard point and shoot. It also gives the option of setting things manually. It's a great starter camera for someone who wants to experiment with photography and doesn't want to invest $600-900 dollars in a first camera. I wish I had this camera last fall at my nephew's wedding because the pics would have come out so much better. It adjusts for standard, florescent and even tungsten lighting. I haven't had any indoor pictures turn out badly since I bought this.
