Had this straightener for years and I love it! I have pretty thick hair and this straightens it great and it stays straight!

I hate this straightener, to get way too hot, too fast, and causes you to burn your fingers, hair, and scalp. This straightener is for African Americans I believe who have a fro but want to straighten their hair for a day.... I would not recommend this on fine hair

I have naturally curly hair and I wanted to buy a hair straightener that would work on my curly hair. And this one definitely does the job well! I am very happy with my Chi Hair straightener. It is definitely your moneys worth.

Works well but broke after a few months of home use.
Managed to fix it myself since I could not bring myself to cough up all that money on a new one.

The CHI Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron straightens my hair perfect. I have naturally curly and frizzy hair which over the years I remember taking two hours blow drying with a brush , using cemicals , don't laugh even ironing my hair just to achieve nice smooth straight hair. Even all these year later now I embrace my curly hair I still love to where it smooth and straight sometimes will this CHI Ceramic Flat Iron really helps me make that happen with beautiful result not taking that much time. Very easy to travel with. I recommend it highly works really well.

This is the best straightener I have ever used! It lasts forever, I've had mine for a few years already and have never had a problem with it. It works so well on my thick hair and doesn't take long at all. Its expensive but worth it!

I dreamed about owning this iron since I was 15. I'm now 23, and got this iron on sale for $50 (which is crazy cheap for this iron!) it works amazing on my thick hair, because it gets very hot. I had it for about 8 months and it stopped working. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price or I would have cried! The iron itself is amazing but I've heard of many of them breaking after only a few months :(
