Flat iron doesn't do this magical beauty tool justice. I'm thinking more like a Magic Wand... I've tried so many flat irons and wasted so much money. I hesitated on this one because it was so tiny. (Guess size doesn't matter after all?) I could kick myself for waiting so long! The Chi is so loving to my hair.... Doesn't pull or catch it. Doesn't fry it. Just makes it perfectly straight and silky smooth with zero fly-aways! Oh Chi, I'm so sorry it took me so long!

Over 10 years I have had 2 Chi Straighteners and one I bought from a salon. I usually straighten my hair every day and have thick wavy hair. My first Chi lasted 3 years and then I got the salon one. The salon one worked really well for a few weeks and then never really straightened as well. I went back to a Chi after a year. I will never have anything else. Some people don't like that there aren't heat settings, but I would have it as high as it will go anyway, so for me this isn't a problem.

I spent $200 on a flat iron that was promised to be the best thing out there with adjustable temperatures and great quality, It stopped working the day of my wedding which was only a few months after buying it, the salon wouldn't exchange it and I got the same results as I did with my friends $50 flat iron.

I bought this about five years ago and it's still going strong. I straighten my hair once a week and it stays. A few times, I have forgotten to unplug it, came back a day later and the flat iron was still as hot as when I left it. It must be a safe one, because it didn't burn out or anything.
With my thick-coarse hair, I cannot do without it. It straightens beautifully in seconds. I will definitely buy another, since any product can only last so long when used as much as I've used this one. My hair iis healthy and straight thanks to this product and spray preps.

I really do love my Chi flat iron! I received it as a gift from my sister as she was sick and tired of hearing me complain about how hard of a time I was having trying to tame my frizzy mess of waves. I fell in love with it right away and that was 5 years ago! It still works very well and I know that when it comes time to replace it I will most likely get another Chi. Very easy to use and lightweight and best of all it does an amazing job of straitening my wavy hair. It always leave it's soft and smooth!

I will start by saying I love my CHI. I'm currently on my second one. The first one lasted 4 years, now my second one is dying after 2 years. It's still working but not heating up as much.

I have really strong hair that doesn't break and handles heat well. As long as i use the CHI when my hair is completely dry and run over my hair a couple of times quickly instead of one time really slowely, it's doesn't burn my hair. It keeps my hair soft and shiney, and works amazing when i'm curling it also.

Right now I am shoping around to see if i can find something better, but I know the CHI works and am too scared to change it. I just wish it would last longer than 1 year.

Although a very expensive flat iron, it is worth every penny! It straightens my very wavy, usually hard to straighten hair. All the other straighteners i've used in the past wouldn't straighten the ends of my hair, this one does. It leaves your hair sliky and shiny.

Love my chi straightener! My cousin is a hairdresser and got mine at a discounted price but even if I had to pay full price I would I've had my straightener for I'd say about 9 years now and it still works just as good as the day I got it. It doesn't take long to heat up and leaves my hair silky smooth and tames my flyaways. I have even used this on my 4 year old daughter as she has half curly half straight hair and it doesn't take very long which is a good thing as there are so many other things my 4 year old would rather do!

It's an expensive flat iron, but it sure makes my hair look amazing :)
I have naturally straight hair, but use my CHI to give it that glossy, professional look!
