Another great product

I already loved the brand but I do even more now. The tubes were very easy to use and didn't need any scissors. The gloves were longer and covered my wrists. The flower smell is pleseant and not overpowering. You will still smell the amonia when applying the dye mix, but while I was waiting I only smelled the floral scent. The dye was thick so less of a mess and there was plenty of dye to cover my hair.

It worked on my dark hair.

So i recently used the new version of this hair dye that has a built-in conditioning protection i was so afraid regardless lol i dyed only a section of my hair in the back. Let me say that the color i went for is light auburn and i have almost black hair but after wash out it didnto see and thing but maybe two days later it lifted my hair color to like a fawn color. And i can confirm that my hair feels just as the rest of my hair does.

more intensity needed

Easy to use and long lasting but it needs more intensity. I love the range of colours available . Nice soft hair after the colouring was used and it did cover all grey

Provides great grey coverage

It blends well and provide lasting grey coverage, in combination with the deep conditioner. The colour mixture smell is not overpowering. Great value!

No gray roots for me!

I love this product for the simple fact that I can wait a least 1 more week from the time my roots show to getting my hair dyed again. It looks natural and easy to use.

Works Great

I have been using Clairol for years. I love how soft it keeps my hair. The colors always turn out with lovely highlights. The only issue I have and its not with the product its with grey hair. The more I get the less time the color lasts. I wish the grey would slow down :)

I haven't personally used this product, but my mom does, so I asked her for a review. She really likes it, works very well and really does hide greys. I watched her apply it and it covered everything and blended well. I might test it out when I start going grey.

I use this mainly to cover greys, and stick close to my natural color.

I pre-treat the regrowth of grey roots with the developer alone for 5-10 mins, then add the developer-color combo for about 45 minutes. Once in a while, I pull the color through the entire head of hair, but most often, I can get away with only coloring the roots and first 4-6" of hair, and blending it into the longer areas for the last 5-10 mins.
When my hair was short, 1/2 of the solution was all I needed. Now with mid-length hair, it takes about 1/2 to do a root and first 4-6 inches only treatment, and full bottle to do the full head (and that's almost not enough).

Pre-treating with developer was my hairstylist's tip to get better grey coverage. Without that step, I don't find this product adheres to grey hair very well, until it's been colored 2-3 times (I was noticing grey at the roots and first few inches, but not further down the hair strands).

The colors on the box rarely show the actual color, so it takes some experimenting and/ or blending to get exactly what I want. I've been using this brand for years. I like that it is not highly scented, and it seems quite effective. Done right, it looks pretty natural.

I use the root touch-up between coloring. I like that I only use the color on my roots, it helps keep my hair healthier and less damaged. I will definitely use the product again.

I had black box dyed hair for 1 year and I went blonde using this product. It took me 5 overall applications of 2 boxes each time over the course of 3 months (i had hair down to my butt) and I am now 1 application from being absolutely white blonde. The first time I used it it turned my hair a nice EVEN ginger color (Im surprised at how evenly this works on dyed hair.) and everytime I used it afterwards significantly made my hair brighter and whiter. I did lose about 3-4 inches of overall lenght due to how this is almost as drying as regular bleach, but still overall a good kit to purchase. It WILL choke you out of any room you are applying it in if you stay in there for more than 5 minutes tho lol this had me running all over my house for air.
