I received Colgate's Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. And honestly it looks like this is going to be my new go to! First of all I love that the cap is big, and easy to twist on and that it allows for the toothpaste to stand up. We always seem to be losing the cap in this house so this is a must have! I also love that the minty flavour is not too strong but leaves your teeth feeling clean and fresh. I also like that it has the antibacterial properties which is great during cold and flu season but to also ensure that your teeth are truly being cleaned. My only downfall that I have found is that as the tube is used, it becomes harder to get toothpaste out. But other than this I definitely recommend giving it out a try especially if you have sensitive teeth as this toothpaste does not have whitening properties.

I received this Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect toothpaste for free from Butterly in exchange of my honest review.
First off , i love that it is for sensitive teeth. I had not found a really nice whitening and repair toothpaste until i recieved this. Ive been using it in place of my regular everyday toothpaste and i can really start to see/feel the difference! And of course the amazing smell is a bonus!

It is not easy to review a toothpaste. Toothpaste is not one of those things that provides instant results; toothpaste is rather a 'long burn' where the benefits from the use of said toothpaste are said to take place over time. Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste is said to help 'repair early enamel damage and protect sensitive teeth'. My tooth sensitivity is mild, and granted I did eat some extremely hot (in temperature) food between uses of Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect toothpaste, and no tooth sensitivity pain was detected, so for me the product functioned as advertised. The product claims to whiten teeth, however I'm pretty certain that this is a process that takes quite a bit of time before results are had, so I was not able to detect any immediate findings in that department. Other claims that Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste make are to help 'reverse early gum damage', reduce 'bacteria on teeth, tongue, cheeks and gums', and help 'prevent plaque and gingivitis'. Prior to this trial, I was a faithful user of Colgate Total toothpaste. I religiously purchase Colgate Total toothpaste because I believe all the claims and benefits that the manufacturer makes. Do I have any evidence of these claims being true? Well, aside from diminished teeth and gum problems, I do not, but unless other evidence contradicts these claims, I will continue to believe and will continue to purchase Colgate Total toothpaste for these stated benefits. That being said, the same claims that are made of my regular Colgate Total toothpaste are also made for Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste, and therefore I too will believe that these claims are true in regards to performance and efficacity of the product. One thing that has changed in recent years is the formula used to make Colgate Total toothpaste (as mentioned on the packaging some months back). Since this change, the product has become 'runnier' in use and will turn to liquid much quicker than its previous iteration. This too seems to be the case with Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste - in that one does not receive a thick lather of product upon use, but rather the product does turn to a liquid-form much quicker when used. An advantage that Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste has however, is that it would seem that this lather does remain within the bristles of the toothbrush longer than other types of toothpaste, which can disperse quickly and leave the user with nothing but moist toothbrush bristles void of product. The last point I wish to bring up in this review is the claim that 'this mint toothpaste has a flavour that will leave your mouth feeling clean and refreshes breath'. The taste of Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste is unique, in that it reminds me of the tartness of apricot yogurt. Is it a bad taste? No. Is it a unique taste? Yes. Use of Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste does leave my mouth (including teeth, gums and tongue) feeling clean and fresh, and this for quite some time, so despite its unique taste, I do believe that the product is effective.

(my husband refers to as “useful products” but they’re ALL useful to me!) When I first opened the box, the first thing I was impressed about with this toothpaste was the size! The tube is huge at a whopping 120ml, a major win already in my opinion!

Also impressive was ‘12 hour antibacterial protection’ It reduces bacteria on teeth, cheeks , gums & tongue.
Its no wonder “TOTAL” is in the name,

I asked my husband to try it, just to compare & he thought it had a bit of a soapy taste. To me, It doesn’t. I like the taste and how it makes your mouth feel fresh & clean
It does have a unique minty taste & is a bit thicker than other pastes

Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpas

I found that Colgate Total Advanced Repair and Protect Toothpaste was helpful for fighting my tooth sensitivity. The only thing I would change about the toothpaste would be to make it extra month, which is just my personal preference.

Great bang for your buck toothpaste

Thanks to Butterly, I got to try this toothpaste for free. Please note that fll of the opnions are my own and I am in no way sponosed. I thought that this toothpaste was pretty effective as my teeth felt a lot better aftering using it for just one week. This is personal preference but I prefer gel toothpaste over paste toothpaste or else I would have given this 5 out of 5.

Work great!

I had the opportunity to try this from Butterly. I would absolutely recommend this toothpaste. It has a good mouth feel and is not too minty. It has added benefits of being antibacterial which is especially great during cold and flu season. Teeth and gums feel great after using it for about a week. My teeth also feel less sensitive to cold foods.

Freshest breath

Colgate delivers on refreshing my mouth. I have sensitive teeth and this works wonderfully for me. I live that the tube has a lot of product. Price is reasonable too. I would buy this again.

Minty Fresh

Thankful for the chance to try out the new Colgate Total Advance Repair and Protect toothpaste for free. The taste of the toothpaste was a light mint taste without it feeling too over powering and I have noticed my teeth have definitely been a lot less sensitive since I've started using this each day. It leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean and I'm not a dentist but I'm hoping it's doing all good things for the enamel too 😅 would definitely purchase this on my own again!

After the dentist visit clean

I loved that it had gritty pieces in it. It gave your teeth that clean polished feeling that the dentist does. I wish it had a more powerful mint taste to it. My mouth felt clean but not overly fresh.
