I have had this for almost a year and use it for special events (such as going out for friends' birthday dinners, New Year's Eve, etc.) and it has worked great. Do keep in mind that practice makes perfect, and it took me few tries to get my hair to look the way I wanted, but it's not hard at all. It's very straightforward and easy to use. I have long hair and purchased a 1 .25 inch and it's wonderful!

I have owned this curling iron for about two years now and it has always done a great job. I have really long hair so I have to do a piggy back curl. I love the heat setting control, so no more burnt hair.
