Fantastic independent craft kit

My daughter, who's nine, really enjoyed this craft. It was a craft that was perfect for her to do on her own with minimal supervision. She did need help with set up as the paint kit was hard to open and we did end up with a slight mess. Other than that her only other complaint was the fact that the paint brush could have been better quality. I’ve purchased a few things from spin master including the beading kit and will continue purchasing in the future.

Wonderful DIYlantern for kids who loves creativity

I recently got the Spin Master Cool Maker DIY Lantern Kit for my kids, and it has been an absolute hit! 🎉 This kit comes with a painting brush and five vibrant colors that can be mixed and matched, allowing my little ones to unleash their creativity and make unique lantern designs, which they literally enjoyed a lot coming up with their own creativity to make this lantern.

The process was so much fun! The quality of the materials is excellent, and the paint is easy to work with. Its best for gifting too.

My kids love crafting, and this kit has become one of their favorite activities. It’s perfect for sparking creativity and keeping them engaged for hours. I highly recommend this DIY lantern kit as a wonderful present for any child who loves to create and to paint! 🖌️❤️

Great idea for crafty children!

My daughter loved painting the lantern! It was a little tricky to draw on for her so I created a design for her and had her fill in with the paints. Overall it was a nice unique craft.

Cute design idea

I loved the idea as a whole! The material itself was a little flimsy and unfortunately ripped in a few places but that didn’t affect it overall. My daughter was very excited to do it and has been asking the entire weekend! I would definitely be interested in the different toys spin master offers.

Fun Activity for a Cold Day!

Thank you to @Spin Master and #Butterly for allowing us to try the Cool Maker Lovely Lantern (TM) kit.
My daughter absolutely loved it! One downfall was the paint quality as the blue was very watery and would leak through and drip if we used it. This would make a good birthday gift for a younger child, or activity for a play date!

Cute but Lacking

I have always been excited when we are approved for the opportunity to review toys for Spin Master but unfortunately this one missed the mark. Although this toy is very cute it just a little too simple. My daughter loves crafts but this one was a little too boring for her. I would say it’s very age appropriate for 6+ but lacking interest.
The quality was okay but the material did tear when we were putting it together. The paint also made the paper so damp I was worried she was going to pop the brush through.
I have 2 other toys from Cool Maker so I was a little let down by this item. I have enjoyed the bead kit and nail kit very much with my daughter but this was meh.
I look forward to future toys from Spin Master and still believe the company has some wonderful products. This one just wasn’t it for us.

Cute!

I thought this was a cute activity! My daughter really loved it. The paint was wonderful and the instructions were great too. Easy for my 6 year old to set up. My only suggestion would to also include string and/or a little light the kids can attach at the bottom to make it into a light! Would be worth the money. I would add this is to a birthday gift!

Create a Lantern

My child's had lots of fun coming up with an idea to paint and had a blast painting it. She loves painting and had fun finding an idea to use. Loved the fact that you had to use your own creativity to make it. She was excited to paint it and find a spot to hang it in her room. She is curious about more items from cool maker

Fun screen free activity

The quality of this product I would say is 5/5. My child enjoyed creating his lantern. The paint was good quality and there was enough paint to complete this activity. My only suggestion is that the packaging be more gender inclusive. When my son saw it he thought he had to make his lantern look like the one pictured and the packaging is quite geared to the female gender. I know many boys who like to craft but often are deterred due to the packaging looking so feminine. All in all the end product was appealing and my son was happy to be able to create his own design to suit his taste. We would definitely like to experience more Spin Master toys/activities.

This lantern painting kit has been such a fun and easy creative activity for the kids! It comes with 5 vibrant colors that are easy for little hands (ages 6+) to work with, and the lantern pieces are sturdy without being frustrating to paint. My 6-year-old loved choosing her favorite palettes and seeing the colors come to life, and I loved that it was simple enough for her to do mostly on her own — minimal mess, maximum fun.

Perfect for craft afternoons, rainy days, or gifting. A great pick if you want something artistic and engaging for the kiddos! 🤍✨
