I have the sensitive skin powder in ivory . It's not a bad powder, but it's not amazing either. I find that sometimes it tends to get cakey on my skin. Since I have combo/oily skin, especially on my t-zone, this powder is just not the best for me, because my face becomes shiny throughout the day. Overall, for the price of this powder, I could probably find something better.
This is one of my favorite powders. The shade range is nice, and the product itself is great too. It really is what its name says, "clean." It leaves a smooth finish on your skin, and doesn't look cakey or powdery. I usually have a huge problem with things oxidizing on my skin, but this doesn't do that. It's light-weight with buildable covergae -- a perfect setting powder.
Hello. I have bought this pressed powder and It works well and it's good because it works well for sensitive skin. I haven't had any major issues with these except that it can get into fine lines and make those lines look more evident and mature. But if you have a great face primer and/or line filler, then that should help with that problem.
Chapmans frozen desserts is so good and they have the biggest choices for ice cream/frozen yogurt and even sugar free choices for people who are diabetic.I love that they are Canadian company and there frozen desserts are simply delicious. This one caught my eye and its as good as it sounds!Cherry and Chocolate swirled yogurt with big chunks of cherries and lots of little cherry filled chocolate cups.YUM.....
Its low fat-96 % fat free and a great source of calcium. It tastes like creamy ice cream and is quite unique one of my new favorite Chapmans frozen desserts!
I am Asian, brown complexion, black hair. I was looking for a press powder to control that shiny face of mine.
I bought a COVERGIRL CLEAN, Normal Press Powder - that's the label. It was a decent price, maybe less than $10.
The color I've choosen is "Natural biege -140" and it blend well with my skin color.
It does not come with flashy cover, just a decent brown one, comes with a usual small foam applicator and decent mirror.
Best purchase for a press powder, and it is worth it!
Well buy again once this one run out!:) Thank you Covergirl!:)
I bought Covergirl Clean Oil Control Pressed Powder and Liquid Foundtation at Zellers last week for $6 each. I was kind of worried because of the low price but I was in desperate need.
So I went to the bathroom with a semi greasy face and put on the liquid foundation first. I was surprised on how light it was, no need to worrie about drying and it easily went over the bumps, they where semi concealed.
Next was the powder, it made all of the little bumps look like they wherent there. It didn't help the bigger ones much, but it wasnt as red anymore!
Not to mention it was 35 out, 41 with humidity and my face looked cool all day! I didn't look like i was sweating at all. Nor did it clog my pores!
Worth every penny.
Only problem is it doesnt conceal medium to large blemishes. but its not red anymore :)
I got this product in the Oil-Control (blue label/container) and I am so glad that I did. Though I do really have dry skin it has a tendency to turn tremendously oily, and fast. I'm not really a huge foundation person so after my moisterizer, this is the product that I use on a daily basis. It gets rid of all the unwanted shine in my T-zone area and gives me a really fresh matte look at te end. I've never really completely my look for the day with out this product and it ideal for my touch-ups when my skins starts becoming oily again. Not sure how but it really does do its job of absorbing all the unwanted oiliness. Not to mention I absolute adore the plastic (glass-looking) packaging, it's so cute and it come with a quality powder puff that's definitely NOT limp and flimsy like a lot of other ones. It really lasts and doesn't fall apart on you. This product lasts for a really long time too, I've had it for a few months now and the bottom isn't even visible yet. My favorite part about this product is that you can really layer on as much as you want without getting that super powdery-overdone look. If you're on the fence, I would definitely encourage you to buy it.
This powder works pretty well. It does what i expect a powder to. It gives me nice, even coverage and takes away shine. It gives me a matte look, and helps further blend with my concealer to help cover blemishes. It's a nice finishing touch to help sort of set my makeup and looks very natural. However, i wouldn't be able to use it alone for covering blemishes. Also, like most powders, dry skin becomes very apparent when wearing it. So i definitely suggest using a good facial scrub or moisturizer before putting this powder on. I have oily combination skin, and find i need to reapply mid-day, but it is very light and portable so it's easy to bring with you to reapply. It has a light scent, but can also be bought fragrance-free (it's the green one).
