Completely scent free cleansing gel which works!

Initially it feels a little too gelly, but once you work it in you can feel it is really smooth. It really is scent free, unlike other some other products which leave a slight chemical smell, this has no smell that I could pick up at all.

I have been using this as part of the Curel routine, and although I don't wear a lot of face make up, some, but not loads, it really takes the grim of the day off your face.

Good for the price, but doesn't take off eye make-up

This cleanser made my skin feel super clean. It removed my complexion makeup products well (foundation, setting powder, bronzer, highlighter, blusher). However, I wish I could use this on my eyes instead of having to use an additional eye make-up removing product. I love my Elemis Cleansing Balm because it takes off my heavy eye make-up as well as face make-up with minimal effort.

Makeup remover

I tried this product but wasn't really a fan of it. As I rarely wear Makeup I probably am not the best person to test it. As there is a face wash as well and this is another similar product it seems a bit excessive. If I wanted a make up remover I generally prefer a lotion that can be applied with cotton wool etc

Too much hassle

Unfortunately, out of all the Curel products I tested, this is one I would likely not be using again... I don’t like the gel feeling on my face and I don’t like washing make-up from my face. I like using cotton wool with a liquid or cream base feel. After I used this, all my make-up was not removed and I’m not one for using a lot of make-up. I had to use my own make-up remover afterwards as well. Overall it was a soft feel on my face, but that was the only good thing about it.
