Good

A basic cleansing gel that you use on a dry face. I only use it when i have no make up or very light base make up so I cannot comment on whether it really removes make up well. I would use this one as a second cleanse after an oil cleanse.

Good alternative to expensive brands!

Was looking for replacement to expensive skincare brands and really am enjoying the gel cleanser. Easy to use and only need a tiny amount so this will definitely last a while! Have recommended to friends, have had no reactions and is a good first cleanse

quick and easy

I have been using cruel make up cleansing gel for approx. 1 week and I have to say this product is amazing.

I wear make up every day and use to use a wipe to remove all make up at the end of the day.

This gel has worked wonders and is simple to use and removes all make up with minimal usage.

It leaves no residue and leaves your face feeling refreshed.

Great first step cleanser

I’ve been using this product as well as some of the other Curel line over the last week and a half and I am definitely a fan of double cleansing. This cleanser is a wonderful gel consistency that really feels like it really helps to break down the makeup. It didn’t take all of it off - always a bit of stubborn mascara that remains - but I was pleased with the texture and gentle formula. I use the foaming facewash right after anyway to get rid of any remaining makeup. I didn’t have any reaction to it whatsoever and as we are getting into the colder months now It did a good job of keeping my skin moisturized rather than stripping it. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a first step gel consistency cleanser for their double cleanse and has dry or sensitive skin!

Just ok

I really want to love this product but it is not for me. Packaged well and a great size. Comes out the tube slowly so not product loss. The gel goes onto the face easily however the consistency is too thick for me. Good for sensitive skin as feels very gentle removing the make up. I would not purchase as it does not work as well as my other make up removers.

Does a fair job

I was excited about trying this after hype about the Japanese double cleanse. However, I was slightly disappointed with the performance of this product alone (as I think it should be reviewed as). I didn't especially enjoy the texture, and found it almost greasy, which is hard on my super dry skin! I think this could be overlooked if the product did an amazing job at removing makeup, but found it only smudged waterproof mascara down my face, which didn't come off after rinsing. On the plus side, when used with the foaming cleanser afterwards, my face felt clean and moisturised, but I don't think I would use it on it's own or purchase in the future.
