Dries as fast as promised!

This summer, we got brand new doors and windows installed on our home. The caulking done at that time needed a little TLC, it was the best opportunity to try this new product!

I’m not the best at precision caulking, and donnot use any special tools to do it, other than my caulking gun and my dandy fingers. On the other hand, I do have a trick to salvage spots that are not to my liking : Rubbing alcohol, cotton swabs and cotton pads!

So, I went on to caulk the cracked corners on my window! I must say the product was quite easy to apply. I try to dot it on instead of making a continuous line and being left with too much product on my surface in the end.

Like you see, it still took a liiiiittle work to remove the excess, but the result was great! Be careful not to let it dry at all before trying to correct it, as it does dry crazy fast!

I would use this product again for sure, maybe more on less fine line projects than my inner windowsills, and definitely for touchups right before painting!

Well-rounded Sealant

I enjoyed using this sealant because it was easy and quick to use as the product flowed smoothly and dried relatively quickly. I tried out the version in white and it was nice and opaque. There was a chemical odour upon application, but it quickly dissipated after it dried down. I appreciate how it is an all-weather sealant that can withstand cold and hot temperatures, is UV resistant, and is rain-ready after 30 minutes of application. I recommend this product to those who plan to repair windows, doors, sidings, trims, and other areas to which this product applies.

Dries super fast, thicker than competitors

I tried out the white version and I found it to work well for it's purpose. It dries down very quickly and without air bubbles. It fits perfectly in a standards caulk gun. One thing to note is that this is a bit thicker than competitors which can be a pro in that it can make a nicer looking seal as it dries (can be 'sculpted'), but does require more strength in depressing the caulk gun to dispense. Making sure to use clean surfaces is key to good adhesion and a waterproof seal.

Great caulking!

I received the DAP AMP Advanced Modified Polymer caulking as a free sample in exchange for a review. I caulked my doors and a few windows in my house with one tube! It dries quickly and is versatile for other projects too. It applies smoothly and easily. It was very easy to use, is waterproof and paintable. I used the whole tube in less than half hour. Slow Dry Time

I was given the opportunity to try this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly, i didn’t like it. i’ve used DAP products for years, but this one missed the mark. The white colour was nice and bright, but it was difficult to apply. This product claims to dry in 30 minutes and after 3 days it is still not dry (indoor AND outdoor). I wonder if i got a bad batch, which is really unfortunate!

Easy to use, Great for the Shower

I received this item free to review. This Dap is extremely easy to use. Goes on smoothly and creates a really nice seal in the shower. I have a used it in my bathroom to replace the old caulking previously use. Definitely a thumbs up!

Thee best sealant out there!

Recently tried the DAP sealant and I really liked it. The clear formula is a major selling point as it allows a seamless finish that doesn't detract from the aesthetics of windows, doors, or siding. High quality all weather sealant!

Got this product for free #ampsealants
I tried the DAP AMP all weather sealant in white shade. It is a high quality product for caulking your windows and doors. I loved that it is paint ready in 30 mins and is better than silicone sealants. It is great for weather proofing.
It can be used with regular universal caulking guns without issue.
Highly recommend the product, would definitely buy.

Sealant

It would be better in different workable formula

Recieved this product free for testing, I prefer the other formula, it's not as sticky or hard to apply evenly. But it did the job. Dry time isn't bad either. Just make sure you don't get it wet as it washes away easily.
