Good little kit for a small quick fix

I received DAP’s Wall Repair Patch Kit for free from Butterly to test and review. It is a good product for a fast repair, was super easy to use, came with everything I needed, and who doesn’t love color changing supplies. I definitely recomend this for anyone needing to do a quick patch. However, with the small size of the spatula you receive, you are unable to properly feather.

Great repair kit

Got this kit to try out for free and boy was it easy to use. Apply the drydex spackling white on my damaged wall and just wait until the pinks become white. Once it’s white just use the sand paper that provided and just sand it down.

Quick dry, easy to use and no cleanup needed

I received DAP Alex Plus Caulk & Drydex Spackling Kit by DAP for review and it exceeded my expectations. Very easy to use, dry quickly and it has very smooth texture. There’s no mess to clean up which makes it perfect for small projects. Highly recommend.

Easy to use

Thanks Butterly and DAPCanada for sending me this handy DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit for free in exchange for giving it a try and providing my honest feedback.

I used this kit to repair a long overdue small spot in my hallway. I love that it contained all of the tools I needed for the project and enjoyed the convenience of knowing when the area was fully dry and ready to sand thanks to the DryDex technology and its dry time colour change indicator. It couldn't have been easier. The spackling went on pink and dried white, letting me know it's time to move onto the next step.

I found the kit simple to use. The instructions were easy to follow and with all the tools I needed, this kit made my wall repair project quick and straightforward.

With 2 energetic kids and a narrow front hallway, I know I'll need this kit again.

Anyone can use this patching kit

If I can use it anyone can. I followed the instructions and went from an ugly hole to a flat surface that can be painted. I really appreciated the colour change of the spackle from pink (wet) to white (dry) to indicate when the patch could be sanded. I found the spackle to be a bit “goopy” and a bit difficult to smooth out because of the location of the hole. I needed to use two coats to fully cover the holes in the patch. I left the second coat over night before sanding because it looked really thick. In the end the patched area was somewhat smooth and ready to paint. I think it would need more sanding with different sand paper to get the patch ready for paint.

Quick and easy wall repair!

Wall patch repairs made easy

Drywall or wall hole repairs are always a source of problems when doing home repairs for me.

I was gifted for free the Wall Repair Patch kit to try out on the drywall hole repairs after putting in a new window and frame.

The kit has everything you need to patch holes ip to 4” with the fibre tough patch that is included. The Spackling goes on pink and dries to a white colour when dry and ready to sand.

Super grateful to try a new to me product from DAP and will definitely buy more to complete my project .

Great product.

I had to opportunity to try the Dap wall repair kit to review. Shockingly this is the first time I have ever had to do this. The kit came with everything I needed (except a vacuum), and was incredibly easy, and actually kind of fun to do. Perfect for any skill set.

I got this drydex to try for free from Dap. It goes on pink and dries white. The spatula made it very easy to apply. Overall a great product for holes up to 3 inches and easy enough for anyone to use. @Dapcanada
