Not So Sure About Natural...

I had the opportunity to review Degree® Calming Lavender Odour Protect 0% Aluminum Free Deodorant after being selected for a product review by chick Advisor and received a full-size product free. My first thoughts about this deodorant were not positive, to be honest. Degree is not a natural product company nor do they adhere to many of the sustainability practices I look for in brands I personally use. I had switched from chemical-laden deodorants and anti-antiperspirants over a year ago and was not all that interested in turning back. I agreed to trial this deodorant however, because the ingredients were acceptable. This is an aluminum-free formula deodorant, but it's far from all natural. The scent I trialed is the Calming Lavender; it had a very weak, barely there scent. I do like how the deodorant glides on, it's a very smooth formula that did not irritate my (sometimes) sensitive skin (other deodorants have left my armpits with chemical burns). The deodorant does not leave any residue whatsoever on clothing and washes off very easily, without the waxy feeling left behind from most deodorants after scrubbing. This product claims to provide 48-hour odoor protection and I can attest to that, over the holidays I was able to test that from the comfort of my own home without offending others at the office or gym! All in all, Degree® Calming Lavender Odour Protect 0% Aluminum Free Deodorant does live up to it's claims and it is a very good product. It left me surprised, in a good way! I gave this review 4/5 stars only because I am not a fan of Unilever as a corporation.

ALUMINUM FREE

Extremely excited about an aluminum free deodorant that smells fresh, calming and actually WORKS. The smell is very subtle and refreshing Deodorant glides on smoothly and doesn't leave behind any mark on my clothing. Really happy with how everything turned out with this product.

Smells nice and quiet

I prefer what the smell is nice and quiet and it provides both and be there for more than 24 hours after one time usage 😍 thanks for your patience to submit my review

Fresh

I love this product and feel good about it as it has no aluminum. At first it feels sticky but that feeling goes away fast. Left me feeling fresh all day.

Good Deodorant

I wanted to love it but personally there is something about the smell that doesn’t say “lavender”..it actually smell a lil bit like men deodorant.
Overall, it feels really good just somehow sticky at the begging but works perfectly during the day so if you want a 0% aluminum free deodorant this is great.

0% alcohol 0% aluminum 100% deodorant

I received degree calming lavender aluminum free deodorant through chick advisory. I love that it is a 0% alcohol and 0% aluminum deodorant. It goes on smooth and feels ok, not too wet or sticky. No white residue left on my clothes. I really like the calming lavender smell it's relaxing. The only reason I gave this deodorant a 4/5 was that I thought it would last longer through more sweating. It does says 48hr protection through light daily activities which I think it does.

Goes on smooth

Very nice product that goes on smooth and doesn't feel sticky. My Degree Calming Lavender Deodorant keep me fresh all day. Washes off well at night in the shower.

Great deodorant!

I received the #degreealuminumfree for free in exchange for my honest review. I was really excited to try this product since I've been considering a switch to aluminum free deodorants, however, I wasn't a fan of the scent. I usually like lavender but the scent on the deodorant wasn't what I was expecting. It didn't really smell like lavender to me and it was a little strong, though it does seem to be less strong as the day goes by. I loved knowing that I was putting on something safer on my body. It applied smoothly and didn't leave a sticky feeling. I also felt the need to reapply at some point throughout the day (maybe that's just me). Overall I did like the product, but perhaps next time I would try a different scent.

Smells nice

when i used it, i didn't thought my armpits smell will go away easily as i sweat alot and smell, this the best deodrant i had than other one, even the fragrance if this last upto 2 days nd whenni tried this deodrant i haven't felt any smell after that.
