Would not recommend for African-American hair

I purchased this product a few months ago and found it was not effective on Black hair. It left my hair pretty dry once rinsed and difficult to detangle when drying even with prior detangling in the shower. I normally like Dove products but this one isn't suitable for Black hair as Black hair is usually dry to start.
