Nice Serum

I received this for free in the product review club. This is the first step that I use after my face is clean and dry, before whatever moisturizer I'm wearing for the day or night. I've been using the whole line, but this does work nicely. The price is really high though and the results aren't good enough for the price in my opinion, but it is nice and does do something. I do have pretty good skin though, so this might work way better for someone with skin that is more damaged as that is what it is meant for.

Dr B cica recovery serum

I received the Dr. Belmeur cica recovery serum courtesy of Chickadvisor in exchange for my honest and unbiased review #gotitfree.

The serum comes in a sleek and cute pump bottle. Korean product packagings always get me. The serum itself has a nice and light floral scent. I apply this on before there cica cream. I'm not sure if this is the correct step but there are no instructions given on how to apply it or when.

I apply the serum along with the cream nightly. Together, my skin feels sticky but it doesn't irritate me. I wake up the next morning with smooth and moisturized skin. Sometimes, I get redness near my nose area but after using the products, the redness is less noticeable.

I would probably purchase this again to use in the colder months when my skin needs it more. I would recommend this to my friends.

Lacking Instructions

I received a full-size The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Cica (Cica is short for centella asiatica, a new wunderdrug in the Korean beauty market) Recovery Serum free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review #gotitfree

I haven't used that many serums before, so it would have been nice if the packaging and website for the serum had more direction about how many times per day it should be used. When used together with the cica recovery cream and soothing gel cream, my skin is noticeably healthier looking - I've even gotten comments from others about the change in the appearance of my skin. However, I don't think that's really particularly because of the serum - I would try to use the cream and gel cream together to see if I get the same results. As with the other products in the cica line, I love love love the packaging of the serum, and it has a cap and a squeeze top applicator which makes it very easy to get the desired amount of product. It only takes a dime sized amount to spread across my face, so being able to control the flow is important not to waste the product. I do think the prices of the line are a bit high, but as you only need a small amount each day, the prices seem more reasonable, especially when you keep in mind that The Face Shop often has great sales! I'm glad to have had the chance to try three products in the line, and would recommend them to people with all skin types, as the absence of 10 additives makes them gentle products.

A rich serum that helps skin recover

I received DR. BELMEUR ADVANCED CICA RECOVERY SERUM from ChickAdvisor to try out and give my honest opinion on.

I really like the packaging of this serum, it's really cute and can easily fit into any bag for travel. It has a pump which is really handy so there's no contamination from fingers touching the product. It has a light bergamot scent that isn't over powering and is quite lovely. The serum itself is very lightweight, glides onto the skin very easily and soaks in fairly fast. The only downside I found to it was it felt a tiny bit greasy to me, and I found after using it I had a few break outs on my t zone. So if you have very dry, thirsty and damaged skin I think this cream would be an awesome addition to your skin care routine.

Light weight & doesn’t irritate

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Dr. belmeur because I had never tried them nor heard of them before, however I am really enjoying these products. Typically so far I have been using this product in the morning, after cleansing my face and before applying the Panthenol soothing gel cream. I have noticed that no matter how many times I apply these creams and serums, my skin doesn’t break out! It’s a relief because new products can tend to do that to me, especially multiple products at once. I find that my skin feels and looks pretty happy using this product. I haven’t had any issue using this one in tha undereye area!

I like the packaging because it’s heavy but I do feel it appears to be more masculine than something I’d select from stores myself.

I really enjoyed this Cica serum

I received Dr. Bulmeur Advanced Cica Recovery Serum for free to review.
I’ve been hearing a lot about centella asiatica (a.k.a. cica) in the K-beauty community lately and how it’s a "miracle ingredient" for PIH and redness, so I was really excited to test this product out.
After using the Cica Recovery Serum every day, in the morning and at night before the cream, for 2 weeks, my skin was moisturized, plump, my pores appear smaller, and my skin was less oily throughout the day. I like how light and smooth the serum feels on my skin. I like the light fresh and floral scent of the serum. The serum feels like a light silicone based primer.

Very Creamy

I recieved this product free to try for testing purposes and I have been using it consistently for the past 2 weeks. The product comes in a very nice pump bottle which is my favourite packaging types because less comtamination. The product itselt, if very very creamy. It feels like a rich butter on your skin. It easily absorbs into the skin and feels very light on the face. What I love about it, is that it doesnt leave you feeling oily. My skin just feels smooth and supple. I would honestly use this alone on my skin because I have combination skin, I dont feel like I need anything on top of it. My skin feels so smooth after using this product.

Smells nice!

I really like the scent of this serum. It isn't too strong but you can definitely smell something. I like the feeling of this serum on my skin but I'm not sure if I've seen anything radically different in my skin using this serum. I find I receive the most benefits from other Dr. Belmeur projects and not necessarily the serum. However, I do like the serum. I haven't broken out and my skin seems to react well. I received this for free for testing purposes from Chick Advisor. I don't think I would repurchase this because I feel like there are other serums that pack more of a punch but I still think this is a nice product.

Fast absorbing serum

I like this serum because a little goes a long way. I use about 1-2 pumps and it covers my face and neck so I know this bottle is going to last a while. My favourite part about this serum though is how fast absorbing and light it is! I've had issued with other brands in the past where it would just sit on my face and it would look so oily, but this one absorbs quickly and it's easy to spread out across your face. I love how I know I'm putting quality ingredients on my face too.

So far so good!

I received the recovery Serum for free and was excited to try it and so far I am not disapointed. The texture is light and smell very light as well, which I like. It feels more natural than other brands that smells a lot like perfume. The serum is quite light but I still prefer putting on at night to make sure my face is not too oily. My skin feels hydrated when i wear it and so far it seems to do great on my dry spots and redness.
