Most of elf's brushes are now synthetic, however quality control with this brand is terrible. Some brushes are softer than others. This brush has a great size. I love to use it for highlight, blush and contour. It blends things wonderfully. Its pretty dense, and is not too floppy. It would probably also function decently for mineral foundation also.

I use this brush strictly with my E.L.F Face Highlighter in Shimmer, and the two work amazing together. The picture does the brush no justice, as it looks cheap and flimsy...but its truly not. The brushes are secure and soft and the handle has remained sturdy even after daily use.
