Can't stand the smell

My baby was supplemented with Enfamil formula since birth. We started with ready to feed nursette bottles but it became kinda pricey so we tried this, the powder form. This product has a strong metallic smell to it, I understand it's fortified in Iron but I can't give it to my baby straight, she won't drink. I have to mix it with the ready to feed for her to take it. I do 1 oz powder and 4 oz ready to feed for her to drink. Wish it didn't have such a strong iron smell to it, its off putting.
