Never buy Fido!

Never get Fido service! Never trust what they say when you buy their phone or tab. Extremely un-ethical and least knowledgeable staff. I have Fido service for 2 years i was paying around $90 for 2 years and it came down when my tab ended.I added up my wife’s line to get 10% line discount.
I bought the phone and got 2 gift cards ( promotional deal) and was told that the additional transfer fees of $35 will be waived. I specifically asked if I have can pay my first bill with these gift cards and they said yes.

After a month when I got my first bill it’s is $200 - out of which $150 is my wife’s bill 🤔

So I called Fido and asked them why I have $35 in my bill and they said it can not be waived and we are sorry.

I was like okay what ever so I tried to pay my bill with those gift cards- it didn’t go through so I checked balance in those cards and there is sufficient balance to pay my bill.

I called Fido again and I talked to the representatives- spent 2.5 hours and they flatly refused to help me “with an apology” and they said the 3rd party made promises and they can’t keep them. 😀

I mean million’s of people using this network and that’s how they treat their clients.

Well I would suggest don’t buy anything from Fido but if you do buy then double check right there at the counter what they are offering is correct.

Highly disappointed with there call center and services. I am cancelling my internet and 2 phone lines after December for sure. No more Fido because I am if I was with any other network for 2 years and having all their products they would be more respectful and helpful.
