Left my hair feeling too oily

I purchased the leave-in conditioner because I was having some trouble with the frizziness of my thick straight hair. I tried applying both the recommended amount and a little bit less than recommended and found that my hair became very oily. Even after massaging the product into my scalp, the end product was far too oily for my liking.
