Not as good as it used to be

The last few packages of butter we bought are definitely not of the same quality and taste as it used to be. My family and I are very disappointed, as we changed to this brand from other brands which were declining in quality and taste. We were happy with Gay Lea butter quality and taste before, but we got unpleasantly surprised lately. I hope Gay Lea improves ingredients and quality/taste control, I hope they don't start adding stuff not supposed to be in butter as many other companies do, and they don't underestimate customers. We will certainly move on to a different brand if necessary or to home made.

Yummy butter

This butter is delicious, when melted is creamy and taste great on popcorn and corn on the cob.
Is great for using in your baking or on toast as well.
All around it is a good butter.

Great tasting butter

I always choose Gay Lea butter when it comes to cooking and baking. The butter has a good solid texture with amazing flavour. Especially when it comes to baking, the butter aroma is accentuating the entire baked goods. It is ab exellence product, I would not change it for any substitution.

Expensive

Too me butter should be on par with margarine! Whyyy is butter so expensive? It makes it hard to cook with often when it’s 4-5$ a brick. Most baked goods require a half cup or more and the brick only gives you two cups... make it cheaper and I’ll buy more

i like it

gay lea is another trusted brand i like. i try this butter based on the recommendation from my friend. it has a real butter taste, good product overall.

well, it's butter

It's butter, and when it's on sale why not get it? Sometimes it goes on sale for less than $3.00 and I think that's pretty awesome sauce. The taste is butter.

The only butter I’ll use

I’m a cookie decorator and an avid baker so I’ve used a LOT of butter. Gay Lea has been my usual butter since I started baking, but another brand was one sale recently so I tried it. Big mistake. Gay Lea makes a softer butter which likely equals a higher fat content and that makes a huge difference in baking. My cookies are softer and richer tasting when I use Gay Lea and I’ll never use anything else again.

Gay Lea Sticks

I love this butter. It tastes great and comes in 4 smaller sticks, making it convenient when cooking or baking. Butter is a bit pricey, but it is on sale pretty often.
