FULL BUT A BIT FRIZZY

The first thing I noticed about this shampoo is the smell. I loved it. I found it light and not overwhelming. It kep my hair smelling nice all day long. GLISS Extra Volume Shampoo definitely made my thin hair feel fuller and it made it look like it had good volume right after I washed. That didn't last all day though. I found after a few hours my hair looked frizzy. I had to put on some mousse to calm it down. Overall I was happy with the product but not sure if I would purchase it again. I prefer the brand I already use. I will recommend it to my friends though as I appreciate the brand.

My Hair has Never Smelled So Good!

What I love the most about Gliss Extra Volume Shampoo by Schwarzkopf is how amazing it makes my hair smell! I can be sensitive to strong fragrances in beauty products but so far I haven’t noticed any negative reactions from using Gliss shampoo. Along with the great scent, comes super pretty & modern packaging. The colour and shape of the bottle is lovely and the bottle is quite large. You get quite a bit of shampoo in the 13.6 fl. Oz. / 400 ml bottle. However, it is still light enough to be handled comfortably for easy use in the shower. At around $9 CAD I feel the price is a bit high for a drugstore shampoo. It delivers in the areas of fragrance, packaging and size but is lacking in effectiveness. Formulated “with Collagen Complex, (it promises to) repair inner hair damage and lift (flat, lifeless) hair from the roots for long-lasting volume, without weighing hair down”. (Quoted from Schwarzkopf.ca) However, I didn’t notice any significant improvement in the look or feel of my hair after using the Gliss Extra Volume Shampoo & Conditioner for almost 2 weeks. My hair smells incredible but that’s about the only benefit I’ve noticed. Perhaps when using over an extended period of time, the results would be more significant. Despite not giving me fuller, bouncier hair, I would consider possibly buying this shampoo or other Gliss haircare products in future if the price comes down.

Super Volume!!

This shampoo is great for adding volume, BUT my hair felt almost dry afterwards. The shampoo
Smells great and made my hair really look and smell fabulous! My hair is naturally wavy, so after using this shampoo and conditioner it was really curly and bouncy! I'm lucky to have #gotitfree in exchange for my honest review. I don't know if I'd buy this shampoo again just because my hair is already dry and it didn't help with that problem. If you have hair that isn't dry-this would be perfect for Volume and boost!! Thanks @ChickAdvisor !!

Works great

GLISS Extra Volume Shampoo is wonderful. Smells great, but not overpowering. Very sudsy and easy to work through curly hair. My hair feels so clean and full of body. And not just for a day ... great for a couple of days too.

Does what it should but with some cons

Upon first impression, with any product, is the scent. The scent of this shampoo was pretty terrible. Some kind of rotting smell. It does dissipiate once your hair is dry however. The result of the shampoo does as says: volume, but this volume comes with stiffness which is a no for me.

Makes my hair bouncy

Got this product to try and was so excited when I first tried. The shampoo smells really nice and does go a long way. My hair seemed more fuller and definitely bouncier. Is it the best volumizing shampoo out there? Probably not, but for its price and value it does it's job and I'm satisfied with it. So, I would say it's a good product.

Great, but not Holy Grail Status

I'm forever trying to find a great shampoo that won't weigh my hair down! I have fairly fine, thin hair but is medium length and it is always looking flat. I've been looking at different products to use so that I don't have to cut my hair! I tried this shampoo with one of the ChickAdvisor product reviews, so I #gotitfree and have been enjoying how it's been working with my hair. This shampoo works well, but isn't the #1 product that has made me feeling WOW! For the drugstore, this is a great product!

Great product, lovely smell!

I am forever trying out different hair products, and these (both the shampoo and conditioner) were some of the best I've tried in a long time. The smell is nice but not strong, and a little goes a long way. I have very long hair and I only needed a little bit.

Great scent!

This shampoo gave me minimal volume after every wash; not as volumizing as it sounds. The scent was very nice (not too strong). This product made my hair very soft after every wash, and my hair didn't feel dry afterwards. I would purchase this product again.
