Formula: The creme foundations are extremely creamy, this would be excellent for very dry skin types. When I first tried the product it felt like it was too moist and didn't give me that matte-semi matte finish I was looking for. Later I realized my moisturizer was the creamy type so the following day I tried again with a super dry moisturizer that makes my skin taut and viola! It helped solve the problem. You must use a very dry base before applying this and if you have extremely oily skin I would avoid it altogether. You also only need a little product at a time and I mean just a tad because it's so creamy then you can build up on application if needed. The wear was pretty decent but in my opinion would have been better if the formula was more matte. Probably not suitable for very oily skin

Ultra Lites Shades are now are available in the Air Brush Formula. I can buy a bottle and use with my air brush spray tool.

Shades: You get five sampler shades made for the fairest skin types in cool, neutral and a warm color.

Shades are silk sprite cool, nymph cool, porcelain neutral, lady fair neutral, and ivory warm.

I haven't tried them all yet but find Lady Fair a good match for me during the summer months. I might apply a darker shade in the winter time. In the summer my skin get's slightly red from the heat and find a very pale shade works best.

Other use: The lighter shades I can use as under eye concealer, face concealer or mix them with other foundations to lighten them as not to waste them.

Apply with a sponge or foundation brush. I used a foundation brush with the barest amount of product blending really well.

Packaging: The palette is in a very thin very small kit of five shades totaling 11 grams. The shades are also available in a full size 1/2 ounce pro refill compact.

Bottom line: An excellent way for fair skin ladies to test multiple shades so they can discover which match is the best for a full size purchase. I love how these shades are natural looking with no beige pigments and not too sallow looking with an overload of yellow pigments. My only wish would be to have them make this collection in a more matte formula for that air brush finish. If you play around with the application and use a light hand you can master getting the finish just right. All in all I'm glad they made this sampler for me to test on my fair skin
