Really Good!

This Grown Alchemist Defence Primer is really good. It’s a little thick but eventually becomes lighter to use all over my face. It’s lightweight, lovely scent and my skin feels so smooth & hydrated. It doesn’t irritate my skin and covers my pores!

Love love love this product! Not only is it made with natural ingredients, I love that I don’t need a lot of this to apply on my skin to help set it up before my makeup. When I applied my makeup, my skin looked flawless because the primer did such a great job to lighten and cover my pores.

Great primer

This primer has a thick gel-like consistency which isn't sticky or tacky and leaves your skin feeling soft upon applying. On its own, it helps to mattify your appearance and helps reduce oil and shine. It instantly smooths away unwanted texture to create the perfect base for your makeup routine and helps to keep your makeup looking fantastic all day long.

Obsessed

I brought this on my vacation to Mexico. It did a good job at keeping me matte even in hot and humid weather. It does a great job at blurring my pores and it didn’t cause me to break out. I’m obsessed with the consistency and how it’s cooling to put

Such a high quality primer

I am loving this Skin Defense Primer. It’s silicone free (super important to me) acts as a makeup primer and is a light weight gel. You only need to use a pea sized amount after your moisturizer and before your makeup for the smoothest skin ever. It has an earthy essential oil type of very light scent at first application but doesn’t linger. Oh and did I mention that it mattifies the skin so no more shine in all the wrong places

Great Mattifying Skin Primer

I received this product free from Butterly and Grand Alchemist in exchange for my honest review.
After cleansing and moisturizing my skin, I applied a small amount all over my face. The formula has a natural herbal fragrance and is like a light silicone type formula(though it is fragrance free). I was worried the formula would be too heavy for my sensitive combination skin, but it absorbed instantly and left my skin feeling like silk, plumped and instantly blurred my pores. My skin also looked more even toned as well as smoothed out any bumps I had. This never irritated my sensitive skin which I’m always worried about with products with fragrance. This helped my makeup and skin stay mattified for 8+ hours, and could have gone longer! Overall this is a fantastic face primer which does everything you need and more! Highly recommend especially to keep your makeup in place on a night out!

Great primer

I absolutely love how natural this primer looks on my face giving a soft matte look. It instantly blurs my pores and is extremely lightweight and comfortable. This is an amazing product

One of the best!

I’ve used this primer multiple times before applying my makeup and I love it! I love the consistency of the formula because it’s absorbs well into my oily skin. My makeup stays put on top of it and I’ve noticed that it lasts all day without any touch ups. It has also cut down on the shine my skin produces in a couple of hours after applying makeup. It also blurs my imperfections and prevents my makeup from settling into my pores. The scent is subtle and goes away after a little while. Nothing that is overpowering. It has not broken me out so my skin seems to like it. I’ve used my fair share of primers over the years, and many have caused my skin to breakout due to the ingredients in different formulas.

I have even used this primer along with my spf without any makeup and my skin looks so good.

I would definitely recommend this primer to everyone. I think it would be suitable for both dry and oily skin types.

Amazing primer!
