Maybe it's just my hair type?

Well i lightened my hair as per the instructions and was sad to find that it didn't quite lightened as much as I had hoped! My hair was a light caramel colour! I thought the blue would be dark enough to show in the caramel, but it came out black.

Only Buy If You're Blonde

Both myself a friend had tried this product and she has very blonde hair i have a light brown/dirty blonde. Her's worked fine came out the colour we expected but mine you could barley tell. I could only imagine if it didn't work on my light brown hair it wouldn't work to well for any darker. That being said it looked really nice in someone whose hair is blonde and lasts quite a while. So for lights hair would recommend, darker hair, don't bother.

Washed off in 5 days!

I received this product for free to test/review from chickadvisor. I really, really wanted to love this product but I was pretty disappointed. I didn't get the colour payoff that I was hoping for and on top of that the little bit of colour that I did get, washed off in a few days. It was probably user error because my hair wasn't fully blonde. I am determined to get my blue hair so I will definitely try this product again and update my review based on the second attempt results. Thanks for letting me try this product!

Worth a try

I tried this product out and out of my mistake and my mistake only, did this product not work. I would have needed to get a bleach which I did not. Other than that, the product would have been absolutely gorgeous!

Fun colour

Fun colour! Not sure if this would be a usual colour or hair dye option but it is fun to try. It is a semi permanent colour but it hasn’t been in my hair long enough to know how it wears over time. It was too difficult to make an ombré or highlight loo, but I am not a usual hair dyer so that may just be lack of practice.

Not great for dark hair even with lightening first

I was very excited to try this. My hair is dark however the sample came with a bleach. That turned my hair hair orange. I figured the red would be OK but it turned out horrible. I wouldn't even go out in public until my husband got me a dye to fix it.

Not for darker hair

I received this product complimentary to review. I have really dark hair and this does not really works well. You need to use atleast 2 box of products if you have dark hair like me.

Meh.

Used this on my daughters hair and that is exactly what I would use it on. Kids hair. Don't expect it to last long, just like any other bright dyes. Perfect for young kids.

Fun change without long-term commitment

For me this was step 2. I used the lightening kit on my naturally dark brown hair. Unfortunately the results from that were still quite brassy even after the toner was applied. I knew based on that, it would alter my results of the blue creative colour kit. I decided I only wanted dark blue so I didn't use the pastelizer. The results were good but not great. Because my hair was brassy it turned blue/green rather than straight blue. Despite reapplying the colour as needed for full coverage in the foils, the colouring was uneven. It was a bit disappointing but fun none the less. I would use it again and likely with better results if I used professional lightening products first because my hair is so dark.

Not enough product

I used the Electric Blue colour that I received from ChickAdvisor for their product review. Unfortunately, the box claims that you are able to use one box for a full head of dye... but the entire tube of dye and the full packet of pastel-izer only covered my roots to mid-ends of my hair. My hair only goes 3 inches past my shoulders so I wouldn't categorize my hair as long, but this product definitely didn't cover it all.
