This Halifax honey is so good. It’s sweet and spicy, and the sweetness is not overbearing. Also I love the fact that it’s toxic free and the ingredients are simple.

Thank you to @thisisbutterly and @thehalifaxhoneycompany for sending me the Stingin' hot honey: raw wildflower honey infused with pickled chilies. This is one is a must to try!
It is soooo good! A little heat, a little kick but not overpowering, so you can taste the delicious honey!
I used it baking pork and it was a hit from everyone! My 17 years old used it on his sandwiches along for his school lunches! He loves it!

You can drizzle some on pizza, seafood, chicken wings, avocado toast, fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, charcuterie boards, Cheese plates, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, grilled vegetables, marinades, dressings, cocktails, desserts... There is no limitation!!
Ingredients: wildflower honey, chillies, vinegar.
Stingin’ Hot Honey is gluten-free.
Made in small batches, so you know you are getting only the good stuff!

I also received the Stingin' hot chili garlic sauce that smells so good! I will use it next time I do a stir fry!

Delish with a kick!

I love this Hot Honey’s sweetness with just a little kick at the end! I drizzled it on top of my Greek yogurt with berries for breakfast and thought it works well. I’m excited to try it with pizza and as part of homemade charcuterie boards. I think it will work great for experimenting with different cocktail recipes! Excited to keep exploring what I can do with it!

This is a must-have for every home (or a perfect stocking stuffer!) and the ultimate star of dinner parties! Drizzle it over crispy fried chicken is a no-brainer! Here’s where it really shines—adding a tastefully hot/sweet twist to spicy Tteokbokki (Dukbokki), those irresistible Korean rice cakes! DROOLS! The heat gets a deliciously cool balance from the honey, making every bite a flavour-packed!! I'll definitely take this out when I'm eating spicy Korean rice cakes!!!

Sweet meets spice

I love how the honey has a nice spicy kick to it. It is not something that I would have imagined to taste so good! I have added it on crackers, avocado toast, chicken wings and it doesn’t disappoint. I am recommending it to my family and friends and I think I will be stocking up some for myself.

At first when I just tried it on its own, it definitely had a bit of a sting to it - but then I tried it on my egg bagel breakfast and it was so good! ( It would be better with avocado!! - but mine wasn’t ripe! 🥑 ) Made locally from the Nova Scotia wildflower honey, infused with pickled chilies give you that perfect mix of sweet and heat! It’s the perfect stocking stuffer for anyone on your list!!

We will be trying this on wings and pizza during the holidays!!

They rate it as 2/5 on the heat scale and I’d say that it’s pretty accurate! My husband will definitely be trying out the Stingin’ HOTTER honey!! ( and they also have regular honey for those who don’t like any heat!! 😉 )
