The best hot honey!

I’ve been using this Stingin’ Hot Honey from Halifax Honey Co. on literally everything I can! Here, I elevated takeout pizza with it! The flavour is mouthwatering with the sweetness from honey mixed with a kick of spice! Seriously, the best combo! Bonus that it’s 100% Canadian!

Tastefully spicy!

With the way the political climate is right now in North America, it's important to support our Canadian-made products. I've used honey in a few of my dishes on weekly rotation, but I enjoyed being able to explore the possibilities with a spicy variety!

This time around, I drizzled it on some roasted chickpeas (mixed with other spices) and the addition of something sweet and spicy was absolutely delicious. My husband and I also have a soft spot for Pizza Nova's honey stinger pizza... So when it was time to make a frozen pizza, we drizzled this ontop and it tasted JUST like takeout!

Halifax's Hot Honey is meant to enhance rather than overpower your dish with its subtle heat. Its ingredient list is short and sweet too: wildflower honey, chillies and vinegar...that's IT! They have several finger-licking-good recipes on their website and is available for about $18 at your local Sobeys.

The perfect sidekick to amp up your meal

Stingin’ Hot Honey is SO SO good. It adds such a nice kick to our favourite meals and it drizzles beautifully out of the bottle. We’ve been putting it on our homemade pizza, chicken, nachos, and much more. The ingredients are simple, yet so effective. Nothing like sweet Nova Scotian wildflower honey infused with pickled chillies. Yum!

My family loved it!

My family can be hard to please, especially when it comes to new things and even more so when they claim to be spicy. However, Halifax Honey was a hit amongst everyone!
