Pumpkin spice makes sweet potato chips so nice!

Last week, I received Hardbite's limited edition Pumpkin to Talk About sweet potato chips. I was excited to give them a try.

I have been a fan of Hardbite's beet and sweet potato chips for years. I like that you get the natural sweetness of the root veggie in every crunchy chip. I was eager to try the company's pumpkin spice sweet potato chips.

My life has changed a lot recently with my mom breaking her arm and having it steadily mend. To take a brief pause from the craziness, I try to take walks outside. The foliage is gorgeous in Fall and I appreciate the vibrant colours. I frankly think that the trees are confused because it still feels like Summer!

I found that having some chips afterwards to relax and reward myself for getting through another day improves my mood. Sometimes, you need a pick-me-up snack. These chips are it!

These pumpkin spice chips are perfect. You can taste the pumpkin spice, but it doesn't overpower the natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes. They are super crunchy, which is synonymous with Hardbite. Delicious!

I need another bag! I need to stock up before they are gone, which is the sad part about any limited edition.

Chips that Taste Like Desert

Tasty, crunchy and feels like you’re eating a fall dessert but instead it’s a chip. These pumpkin spice chips taste sweet but had the same crunch as chips.

Oh my gosh!! Those are so good and the taste is not overpowering! Love the crunch to them and will definitely be purchasing again and we also love the other flavours

Not what I was expecting

Let me start by saying that this chips are delicious, is a sweet and crunchy snack that is tasty without being overwhelmed, however, when I think of chips my mind goes into something salty and this one is lacking that profile, as it's primary taste is sweet so that's the laid-back I have with this product, that defeats my expectations in a way I cannot complain

Pumpkin Spice on the Trail

We took Hardbite’s Pumpkin to Talk About chips with us on a fall hike, and they were exactly what we needed when we stopped to snack by the river. They’re sweet potato chips with a light pumpkin spice seasoning, so you get that cozy fall flavour without it being too much. They’re crunchy, a little sweet, and honestly just a fun twist on regular chips. Definitely feels like the kind of snack you want to have around when the weather cools down. It has the perfect crunch and because we loved it so much we are curious to try hardbite’s other flavours. The only thing is we wish there were more chips in the bag!

Perfect snack

We thought that these chips will be taste less, but in fact they taste very good, the balance between the seasoning and the taste of the sweet potato chips is perfect. It is the family new favourite snack.

Tasty but not for me

I’m as basic as they come, and I love a pumpkin-flavoured Fall product. I was excited to try these chips but they aren’t quite what I expected. Because they’re made from sweet potatoes, there’s a natural sweetness to them. That’s not necessarily a problem but I prefer my chips to be savoury. They’re also a bit softer than regular potato chips which is not my personal preference. I’m glad I got to try them but I don’t know if I’d buy them myself.

My New Fall Obsession

I’m such a huge fan of sweet potatoes and anything pumpkin spice so the moment I saw this I knew I had to try it. The packaging alone is so cute and eye catching and as soon as I opened the bag that warm pumpkin spice aroma hit me and I was already obsessed. But wow the taste totally surprised me, it’s nothing like regular chips, it’s richer, sweeter and way more flavorful. The sweet potato with pumpkin spice is honestly a match made in heaven. I loved it so much I shared it with my friends and they were just as blown away as I was. It leaves such a cozy and delicious taste in your mouth and it’s definitely a new favorite I’ll be telling everyone about.

Subtle pumpkin flavor

When I first opened the bag, the smell of sweet potato really stood out—there wasn’t much pumpkin aroma at all. The chips themselves are visibly crispy, and the first bite definitely delivers on that crunch. You can taste the natural softness and sweetness of the sweet potato, with just a hint of pumpkin adding balance. It’s a really nice mix of sweet and savory, not overpowering in either direction.

I think these would be delicious paired with a dip, but honestly, I’d be perfectly happy eating them plain straight out of the bag. Overall, I’d give these a solid thumbs up for anyone looking for a seasonal twist on classic sweet potato chips.

I love me some pumpkin!

These have an interesting flavour. Like sweet potato and pumpkin spice mixture. I would have liked a little more of the pumpkin spice flavour, but overall it is pretty good. Has a bit of sweetness to it.
