Amazing quick coffee

I've tried many products from Hatch so I was excited to put this one to the test. I was so gladly surprised as it kept the quality and flavour I know from other Hatch products, while also giving convenience and quickness. I really recommend it.

Instant coffee win

I'm not a huge user of instant coffee as I usually find it bland. The stardust starlight coffee has changed my mind! So rich and bold yet delicate. And SO east to use. 10/10

Impressive quality, convenience and versatility

Hatch Coffee Stardust: Starlight is a premium instant coffee from Hatch Coffee, a local, Canadian coffee company from Markham. Made from their Starlight beans which are a single origin, washed Ethiopian with a medium-light roast, it is vibrant, floral and bright with hints of stone fruit and citrus. Be sure to take the lid off your cup to take in the aromas!

The packets are pre-measured and for that reason, the perfect solution for on the go, camping, etc. There are directions in the back of each packet to make your coffee 3 ways: espresso, Americano and latte. As an espresso, it was a decent, strong cup and a good base for any drink you would want to make with with espresso (cappuccino, mocha, macchiato, espresso martini, etc). There is however, no crema which can really only be achieved with the use of an espresso machine. The suggested water and milk ratios for an Americano and latte made for a strong cup! I tested the Americano on a day I spent outdoors so I brought the suggested amount of hot water in a travel mug and added the packet while I was outside. It mixed beautifully even without a spoon or stir stick. It might have been a result of me drinking this very quickly (it was very cold outside that day), but I was super buzzed after this cup! So maybe save this for your mornings or study sessions and not for an after dinner drink with dessert! And the great thing about instant coffee is you can start with less water (or milk) and add to your preference (When at home and not out ice skating). It can also be mixed with cold water or milk for those who like iced lattes.

One package has four servings and currently sells for $15. They also sell these in a jar for a more economical and more customizable cup (and less waste if you're not planning on making your cups for while on the go).

Overall, I was impressed with the quality, convenience and versatility of this instant coffee. Being from a local, Canadian company is a big bonus! I'd recommend this smaller package as an introduction to the brand or their instant coffee offerings or as a gift to your favourite coffee lover/outdoor enthusiast.

Smooth instant latte that tastes good

I’ve tried a lot of instant coffee over the years, and most of them lean more toward convenience than flavour. Hatch Coffee is one of the few brands that proves instant coffee can still taste premium. This is actually my fourth time trying a Hatch Coffee product, and they’ve been consistently good every single time.

I enjoyed this on a lazy Sunday when I wanted something warm and comforting without pulling out any equipment. I made a latte by warming some milk, pouring in the sachet, and that was it. Super quick and effortless. The coffee dissolved smoothly and tasted creamy and rich, without that bitter or watered down instant coffee taste. I added a little sugar just to make it slightly sweeter, and it turned into a really enjoyable at-home latte.

What I appreciate most is how easy this is to enjoy on the go. Whether you’re rushing out the door or just don’t feel like brewing a full cup, it gives you a quality coffee moment in minutes. It’s also a Product of Canada, which makes it even better supporting a local brand that clearly cares about flavour.

Hatch continues to impress me, and this instant coffee is something I’d happily keep stocked for slow mornings or busy days.

Flavour is delicious!!!

As someone who uses instant coffee, this instant coffee was such a wonderful surprise. The taste was phenomenal. I tried it as an espresso and in a caramel latte and both were so flavourful. This is definitely convenient when you’re in a rush and want to take your espresso to go. I would definitely repurchase. I thought the concept of freeze dried coffee was so interesting and so glad I tried it. Definitely elevated my usual instant coffee experience. This one is my favorite!

Smooth and fast

I made a brown sugar shaken espresso that came together super quick with hatch instant coffee stardust.
It was very smooth and I even enjoyed it black when normally I need a little milk.
The best part was quick because I love my coffees but with my little ones I need to be quick. Perfect for traveling too!

I really enjoyed making an Americano. It was super easy and quick and tasted amazing. I loved the taste as well as the convenience. I would absolutely buy these and keep a set in my lunch bag for office days and for afternoons that just need a good quality pick me up.

Convenient Coffee Option

Hatch Stardust Starlight is a great example of convenient instant coffee. It’s smooth, well-balanced, and easy to enjoy. I enjoyed the fruity and toasty aroma. I love how simple it is to prepare, while still tasting like thoughtfully made specialty coffee. I made the espresso, and I'd like to try it as a latte next. It’s especially nice for busy days when I want quality coffee without breaking out the fancy equipment. A great Canadian-made option.

Love this coffee!

I tried Hatch Stardust Starlight Coffee recently and really enjoyed how easy and smooth it is. The sachets are super convenient—just add one to about 240 ml of hot water and you’re good to go, which has been perfect for busy mornings or when I want a quick cup without pulling out all my coffee gear.

The quality is amazing- it’s smooth, well-balanced, and not bitter like a lot of instant options.

This is great for travel, work, or keeping a few on hand for days when you want something fast but still good. Overall, it’s a solid option if you want the convenience of instant coffee without sacrificing flavour!

Better then fresh
