After struggling to find a diaper that kept my son dry over night I tried these, and they work very well!
Worst diapers for boys, No matter how sure I am that it is proper, always seems to leak!
This was the first diaper that we encountered that my son was allergic to. They gave him a horrible rash on his thighs. This was the first Huggies diaper we encountered that had a green dye on the legs and believe this is what gave him the rash.
Huggies is a well trusted brand and I love their other products, wipes, overnight diapers, etc., however, I found their baby diapers size 1 to be very disappointing. When I first brought DD1 home from the hospital I chose Huggies on the advice of a friend. They appeared to be perfect. I loved the cut out at the belly button to prevent irritation, they seemed to be tapered in the legs to give my room for comfort and movement, but my dislike arose when I put my baby girl in the overnight. The first night she made it until midnight, when she woke up SOAKED. The second night she made it three hours before she woke up soaked. Unfortunately, when you are a new mom (with older kids) sleep is very important to you, changing a soaking wet baby several times a night is not possible. I don't know if I got a bad batch of Huggies, or what but I was shocked to find out how disappointing they were.
The perforated waistband that goes all the way around the top of the diaper very much helps in aiding to keep the blowouts in check. Also minimizing leaks.
Huggies has got to be the worst possible brand of diapers on the market, they should be renamed "Leakies"!
When my children were born (over 22 years ago) I could not use Huggies because something in the absorbent gel caused them to get a terrible diaper rash. They also leaked terribly. Now that my kids have recently had babies of their own, we prepared by buying diapers during the pregnancies when they were on sale. Huggies was one of the brands we bought. They fit and absorb much better now, but my 2 grandbabies (both under 2 months of age) are also allergic to the gel in the diapers.
Love this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a very active toddler!
