Mask

If you know me well you know i love a good hair mask some of my favourite ones are also from the drug store and they make my hair feel so soft it’s actually unbelievable.

Just for reference I have bleached blonde light hair that’s naturally wavy and tends to get dry quite easily with the use of styling tools etc.

The mask smells delicious and fresh I love the scent of it it smells the same as the corresponding shampoo and conditioner out of this range so if you choose to use all three products you won’t get a mix of different scents on your hair which can be a bit over whelming to some.

You get a fairly average size tub compare to other conditioning masks; id say it would do about 6/7 uses depending on your hair length and how much you use, I tend to use a good amount my hair is fairly long past my shoulders.

This mask says to leave it on for between 2 and 3 minutes however I tend to use deep conditioning masks for around 15 minutes to get the most out of the product and I feel like it works a lot better for my hair type.

Once I applied the mask it glided through my wet hair easily it wasn’t too thick or too runny so it stays in your hair without the use of a shower cap to lock it all in.

After I rinsed the mask off it did leave the texture of my hair a little knotty however when I went to wet brush it there was no tugging or ripping which is good as no one likes the struggle of ripping your hair out with a brush... ouch

My hair kind of felt the same after using the mask I’m not sure if that’s due to my hairs moisture levels being enough already or if it just didn’t do much for my hair type.

Overall I enjoyed using this mask and it made my hair smell nice however I have used better masks in the past from the same price range which I would most likely opt for.

Nourishing mask

This mask smells just as great as the rest of this range. It leaves my hair feeling soft, silky and smooth. I use it a few times a week for an extra boost of hydration.

not bad

i used with the other products only once or twice as a treat for my hair. seems to work well and my hair felt a lot less dry on the ends. i am not adverse to buying again but i dont think id go out of my way to. and as usual for john frieda products it smells lush.

left a greasy residue on my hair

I was given this product to test and was looking forward to the results. While washing my hair it smelt really nice and instantly replenished the lost moisture. On the day of washing my hair felt great but that's it. The day after washing my hair my hair felt unusually greasy and needed washing again. I found that no matter how much I rinsed my hair it left a residue on my hair which far outweighed everything I liked about the product. Not only did my hair feel greasy it looked greasy, so unfortunately unlike the other john freida products I have tried this one failed to impress me.

Fresh and nourishing

I was skeptical before trying this set out after trying many products for hair with dry ends and greasy roots. The hair mask of this set really left my hair feeling nourished, soft, smooth and hydrated. The great thing was that using the trio together did not feel like a chore. The smell wasn't overpowering and was quite fresh and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from dry ends and greasy roots, it's a brilliant all rounder!

Love this

I loved using this hair mask. It only needed to be left on for a minutes and instantly made a difference to the feel of my hair. My hair felt noticeably smoother and softer immediately after using this.
The smell of this is also lovely and lasts for a few days after using.

Okay I don’t like the packaging

I didn’t like the packaging of this. It’s a pot and in the shower for me they don’t work! I also didn’t find anything better in this than the other conditioner! The normal conditioner does a great job shinny hair and smells great. This does all that bit as a treatment I would of expected a little more. I won’t repurchase this

Nice for a treat

I don’t normally use a hair mask but as I was asked to test this as part of a set I did as per the instructions and found it to give my hair a lovely shiny boost in the winter. The texture and smell were very

Months

Deeply conditioning

I used this product after first using the shampoo and conditioner in the same range as I did not feel that they got through all my tangles! I used a good amount and lathered it from root to tip. The smell wasn’t my favourite, but wasn’t off putting either. After rinsing, I found a noticeable difference and would definitely use again when my hair is in need of a rescue.

My hairs never felt so soft.

Like the rest of this range this smells amazing. A little goes a long way.
It made my hair really soft I just was unsure if you was meant to use the conditioner before or after but i didn’t bother and you don’t need to. My Hair is long and gets tangled easily this product got rid of most of the knots and was really soft and frizz free once dried.
This range is so luxurious and something you’d expect at a expensive salon
