zero heat, zero effectiveness

I received this #joicoZeroHeat product via @chickadvisor and @joicoCanada. I #gotitfree to try and although it smells great and the texture is smooth, soft, and almost silky, I can’t say much about its effectiveness. I have long curly hair, that means lots of frizz! This product promises to reduce frizz without the need of a hair dryer. When I first received the product I was confused, I thought it was to use while blow drying my hair because of the white creamy texture. Then I saw it was for air dry styling to fight frizz and define natural hair. Either way, I was expecting this product to tame the frizzies, but it just left my hair as if I air dried. I only tried this product once since I received it. I will give it another go and see if I experience something different.

Didn't do much for me

I really wanted to love this product to see if I could forgo my blow dryer and curling iron on a more regular basis to avoid damage, but alas, it just didn't live up to what I was hoping for. It smells great, the texture is great and it isn't heavy. But my hair still just ended up limp and meh. My ends can get a little fluffy but with straight hair I don't get much frizz, perhaps someone with more unmanageable hair would see more of a difference.

Where’d my waves go?

I was excited to be a part of the Joico Zero Heat Air Dry styling Creme for fine/medium hair campaign but I was mostly disappointed with this product. The minor positives— pleasant fragrance and it was not sticky or greasy in your hands or your hair. The major negative for me was that it did nothing. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and for me, it actually seemed to flatten my hair, not enhance it. I followed the instructions and it did not reduce the drying time on my hair, it did not reduce any frizz, and as I said, unfortunately it did nothing to enhance my natural waves. It looked limp and lifeless. Personally, I would not recommend this product or purchase it again.

Helped frizz at the roots, but still had frizz at the sides

I'd say I did notice a difference while using this product, but it in no means removed all frizz. I noticed a difference for sure in the frizz and flyaways near my scalp. Further down, there was definitely still noticeable frizz. I also noticed my ends were quite dry after this and would need to use a secondary product on my ends. Even after all of that, I would for sure continue to use this product. I did notice a difference, so I will be using this up!

Frizzy no life finished product

I received this Joico Zero Heat for Fine/medium hair air dry styling creme to try out in exchange for my honest opinion. I really hate posting bad reviews, but I need to be honest. I've tried this product out three times. The first time, my hair came out with a weird funny texture...like what used to happen back in the 90s with too much gel/mousse. The second time I used less product and my hair came out with frizzy, the third time I used a bit more product and my hair came out flat (some would say beach look). With competitor products when I air dry my hair I get soft curls (my hair is naturally curly). Maybe this would work better for those with wavy or straight hair, but for me - it was a mess and it forced me to wash it more often than I would normally. So no, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with the same hair as I have. #joicozeroheat #gotitfree
