77% OF CHICKS DIG IT
They have great products which I just started getting. They give you a great deal when you join and are very helpful and prompt when problems or questions come up, making the products even better. I received my first box only paying about $4.00 for 2 beautiful and colorful nail polishes and a neat bottle of cuticle oil. The cuticle oil is so easy to apply because it is in a roll on bottle which you easily roll on your cuticles and with no mess. The selection is great and you always have to the choice to receive their boxes, which are cutely packed and always have a little gift included. Great product and great selection also but you may not love the prices or the wait you may have. They do have deals though so I recommend checking it out.
I don't find Julep Nailpolish to be high in quality. I did find it hard to apply, found that the nailpolish is too thick for my liking. I wouldn't recommend this nailpolish or buy it again.
I became a "Maven" , but ended it because of the fact the nail polish always bubbles on the nails and I never had that with any polish before!!!
Loving julep
Julep Nail Color is “4-free” and does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP. Our professional chip-resistant formulation is delivered via our exclusive flat brush with micro-frayed brush hairs.
I quite like Julep polishes, though one of my polishes has a wonky brush. These polishes are beautifully pigmented and their dry time is pretty fast. When the brush isn't acting up, it's very easy to apply a nice, thin layer and there's no streaking.
However, I find that they don't last very long on my hands, as they start to peel after 3 or so days with 2-3 coats, plus basecoat and topcoat. (My technique may be to blame here, as I don't stop just short of the cuticle when applying. Regardless, I've had less expensive polishes last longer when I apply them.) Also, the way the bottle is designed makes the polish prone to sticking to the body of the brush, so when you've just about done applying a layer to a nail, a big drop of nail polish slides down the brush and onto your nail, and you have to hastily wipe it away.
The regular prices for these polishes are extremely expensive - especially when you take into consideration the fact that the bottles are only 7ml (half of normal polish bottles). But trying out an intro box is pretty cool, and for people who love nail polish, the monthly box isn't that bad of a deal.
Overall, I think that the intro boxes are totally worth it (hunt around, and you'll find a code to get it for only a penny), and you get to experience pretty good polishes. But these polishes aren't THAT great (though they are pretty great), and unless you become a die-hard fan, it's not worth it to buy them (unless it's a BOGO free sale, in which case the price is much more reasonable).
I don't find Julep Maven Nailpolish to be high in quality. I found it hard to apply the nailpolish for it was too thick. I wouldn't recommend this nailpolish or buy it again.
Julep is a nailpolish company based out of Seattle. The have a monthly program called "Julep Maven." It costs $20 a month to be a member, and members receive over $40 of product every month as well as a percentage off of prodiucts in ther online store. When initially signing up, you take a short personality quiz to determine what box you will receive every month. On the 20th every Maven gets an email informing her (or him!) of wht will be shipped on the 27th. If you are not satisfied with the colors you can choose another box, or just skip that month - no payment required! Plus you can skip as many months as your heart desires (but trust me, these are great products, and you won't want to!), or you can cancel your membership with no hassle. The company also has a great referral program; for every 2 referrals you get a free month!
I have been a member for 3 months, and I have 11 polishes. I am completely in love with Julep products! And I definitely recommend them to anyone who loves a high quality, well priced, product.

I was lucky enough to grab on to the 0.01 cent deal to try out the box so obviously very excited when it came in! I ended up with the bombshell (an orange) and oscar (glitter gold) colours.
I found the formula to be quite runny and had to have 3 applications of the bombshell to get it to the right shade for me. I had to reapply to my tips within 2 days and it needed an overhaul in about 5. So on average with most nail polishes out there. They are good polishes but for the price? I'd rather get a Revlon on sale and have the same quality for less.
Love Julep.. Found them last year & got 1 cent for my 1st maven box to try out. I now have about 25 nail polishs from them.. Love there Mystery boxs - they are so fun.
Polish is very good alot of the harmful chemicals are not in their polishs :)
